These boots are gorgeous. Their matte finish is elegant. They are cut in a way that makes my foot look thin - a rare quality to achieve. They lace up like my ice skating boots when I was a kid - which is terrific! I'm sure they will be great for any and all purposes, but I am happy to have a boot that looks to me like a dress boot. I am thrilled with them!!

Just want to mention that although this is a very nice looking boot and doesn't make my size 11 foot look like Big Foot, the Jet Black is a suede and not the full grain leather that I thought it would be. Since the descriptions do not specify which boot has what finish and we are on able to guess by looking at the picture, I was very disappointed to finish and not leather. In fact, I didn't even think that the Black was a suede because it looked like full grain leather in the picture. Now if you ask me if the Omega Taupe/ Major is a suede or full grain leather, I think it is full grain leather but who knows except those at Sorel or if you purchase them in person. Another thing, full However, who can purchase anything in person which is why descriptions are so important. So would I purchase the Omega Taupe/ Major? The fact that Sorel doesn't provide accurate information by style and color makes me think twice about purchasing. Have a question? Then make sure you have at least a half hour to get an answer. See pics. Oops... another issue, Sorel website isn't allowing pictures to be uploaded. Button is not working. I SS the actual time I was on the phone with Customer Service and a picture of my boots. Would love if someone from senior management would call me. I left my information with Customer Service but was told they can't make anyone call me when asked for my email address which I provided along with my phone number. Lastly, Grain leather will survive the wet weather better than suede. And the rubber soles are the only thing that is waterproof. So spray a protectant on your boots! I live in Southern California but it is pouring heavily right now.

Super cute. Would be perfect w baggy jeans. But even sizing up a half size, they were too crowed once I put in my custom arch supports. Not much toe room width wise or in the toe box. Reluctantly sent them back.

I would highly recommend sizing up at least half a size. Especially if you plan on wearing thick socks with these. They are a tight squeeze, going on and coming off... even for my narrow foot. They are quite stiff so they will need a breaking in period. They also have an androgynous esthetic. My husband asked me what was up with the combat boots when he saw these in the room. They are decently comfortable once you get them on though and will be great once fully broke in. I live in south Alabama though so I can't comment to their traction on ice. They keep feet nice and cozy and warm though.

Been in the market for a boot like this for my wife for quite a while. Can happily say that she loves it, not only the look of it but how comfortable it has been. We took a trip and she wore them a whole day and no complaints!

I love the boots, but it's going to take a little bit to break them in. My feet are a bit wider than most as my parents let my feet breathe as a child so shoe restraints didn't shape my feet. They're okay even for my wide feet, but it's going to take a bit of stretching them to make them comfortable for a shoe that I'd wear often.

Before I actually give my review i want to say that i absolutely love these and they go so good with the majority of my outfits. They are super comfortable and keep your feet super warm. One thing I didn't like is how short the laces are and I actually ended up getting a longer pair. The other thing to be aware of is the back of the boot is stiff and takes a bit to break down into a comfortable shape.Other than that, it's a great pair of boots.

The Sorel Hi-Line Lace Boots are my first pair of Sorel boots and they are my new favorite. They are strong, yet comfortable. Like most boots, the more you break them in, the better they get. I am looking forward to wearing these boots in the winter when I'm shoveling snow or playing with my girls.

I love these boots so much! I received them a few weeks ago which was perfect timing for this fall and winter time. These boots are well made and the soft leather is perfect. They look very fashionable and and feel great on my feet. I would definitely recommend and would love to purchase more colors of these boots.

I like that these boots are waterproof and doesn't stain! These boots have very comfortable soles but, the shoes are a little narrow considering that I have wide feet. I love all the details with the branding with these boots. The front area doesn't seem to crease much after several wears which is great.

Pretty nice boots. I like that they are waterproof. They are nice looking and for the most part comfortable, but with this material it's taking a long time (so far a couple weeks) to break in. I have one problem toe and it runs on it a lot so I can't walk a long time with them yet, but they are slowly getting there.

I got these shoes for my wife and she's in love with them. She said they are her new favorite shoes to wear. You can tell they are made with great quality and they can go with many different outfits. They fit true to size although they are a bit narrow on her feet. I'm sure after breaking them in they will fit great.

I have always been a big fan of Sorel, they always use the best whiskey materials so I was really excited to test these new boots out. Esthetically they're beautiful. The matte finish and combat style make it very easy to pair with any outfit. The material is water proof and keeps heat in. They lace all the way up for which is perfect so no snow, rain or sleet will splash down into your shoe. Overall I truly like this new design it's stylish and very very durable.

These booths are fantastic! I was immediately impressed by the quality of the material. They are both sturdy, stylish, and comfortable. They also seem to have good traction, which is essential in the winter. They fit true to size, with enough room for heavy socks-the matte black pairs nicely with both jeans and leggings. These boots look really good and the material makes it very easy to clean. You can style them with just about anything. The biggest concern my wife had was that if you can, definitely try to go up a half a size or get some insoles for the heel until you can break them in because they can sometimes hurt around the back of the heel because the material is very hard in that area. But she's figured out a way to make them work and loves to wear them when she can.

This is my first time trying combat shoes. I was worried that I may not find them to be as comfortable as regular shoes but I was pleasantly surprised. Not only do these boots looks super cool they are super comfortable as well. The fit is just perfect. This was my first time trying the brand Sorel aswel. I was highly impressed. Such a great boot for winter. Very comfortable for all day wear, and durable for weather too. They fit true to size, but consider if you're gonna wear heavier socks. And without having to sacrifice looks! I'm so happy, I highly recommend. You'll love them!

The sorel high line lace boots are so nice! I will start with the appearance. The look of them is very nice and they are soft to touch. I love that they are made with waterproof material so I can wear these in any weather no matter what my plans are. SOREL Women's Hi-Line Lace Boot are absolutely wonderful, styling, and waterproof with a heel but not uncomfortably tall! Size 9 is perfect and there's plenty of toe room and not too narrow and they seem very comfortable! The leather seems that it wouldn't need to be broken in much if at all, and the insole inside was very soft! I absolutely love everything about these boots!

These are the perfect fall boots to add to my collection. They are all black with a black sole. I love wearing them with skinny jeans and leggings. They lace up to the top. The boots are also made of waterproof materials which makes them perfect for all weather.

These are my very favorite boots now, I love them!! They fit so comfortably and they look really nice - I actually keep looking for excuses to wear them. They're water resistant and the material is definitely high quality. I normally wear anywhere from a 6 to a 7 depending on the style/brand of shoes and I got a 6 in these. I need to break them in a bit more to fit how I'd like, particularly in the heel, but they're already forming to my feet, are super supportive and again, I LOVE them.

Sometimes it's hard to find waterproof boots that are also stylish, but these fit the bill! They will need some breaking in to be more walkable as the leather is a little stiff. They seem to have good traction. I got these in black, and it will go with leggings, jeans, even a long skirt! I have feet on the wider side, so these were a little narrow for me so i will have to use a stretcher to improve the fit.
