These boots have exceeded my expectations so far. First off, I live in Seattle, which means long periods of light to heavy rain for months on end, and occasionally a few inches of snow. I was looking for a new pair of boots that would last a long time and keep my feet warm and dry. I already owned an awesome pair of Sorel slippers, and my wife loved the winter boots she had as well. So I looked for options and found this: - The warmest was the normal Sorel Caribou. These looked great and warm, but just looked too big and clunky for me to wear around the city. If we got more than a few inches of snow a year that would be one thing, but they were just too much. - I liked the look of the Caribou Street Boot, but I already own a pair of broken in Red Wings that kept light rain out, so that would be redundant. - Thus, in the middle was the Caribou Storm boot. The perfect balance of waterproof without being bulky. What I liked the most was the color. I had to look hard to find the black with "mud" in stock. The black with brick was OK, and the tan ones weren't my style as they screamed "LL Bean Duck Boots!" The final piece was the price. While all the other boots were on sale, these held fast at $225, which is super expensive. I bided my time and searched for sales, but it stuck at that price so I thought maybe they never discount it. Finally, I saw this pair come up on Sunny Sports for $165 and I jumped on them. Delivery was fast and easy. This past week we went the Sounders soccer game and stood outside in the rain for 3+ hours. My feet were toasty warm and dry. Excited to have these for a long time.

I bought these three months ago. Ive had about five pairs of Sorels, these are the best pair of Sorels I?ve had. I?m considering buying another pair in case they stop making them.

Ive had these boots for 5 months now and they are so comfortable. They?re perfect for when its cool outside and for when its cold outside. Not super bulky like other boots. One thing I really like is that I can wear ankle socks with them because of the lamb fur that lines the ankle. Its so warm. Love it!!

I have a few Sorels and these, all though the most expensive, are the best. Their worm yet much less bulky than the regular Caribou, which i also have. These are easy to drive with, full on Caribou's, not so much.
