Love these!
I use these for daily wear. Fit in all shoes. Warm without bulk. A little thicker than a liner. Huge fan of washable wool.

Great socks!
I have a wide foot and find wide shoes too wide and uncomfortable. With the zero cushion smart wool socks I can wear normal width shoe and feels great.

comfortable in a shoe
This sock is thin enough to wear inside sneakers and some shoes. Nice and warm. However, I have to cut about 3 inches off top, because the top is too restrictive, and tight. That makes it perfect.

Yes, more colors, knee highs !
Great weight, would like longer calf - knee high. Elastic at mid calf can be constricting. I'm wearing them scrunched down for that reason. Add colors, long knee high version, please.

I always get large sox, esp sox for winter. Would love knee high version in colors. Only drawback is the tight-is band midcalf.

I have worn these socks for 15 years
I don't care for thick socks. They are uncomfortable. I wear these wool sock liners 6mos a year!

Only socks I wear
These are the only socks I've worn over the past 6-7+ years, both for daily use and for extensive hikes, and I can't imagine wearing any other sock. They are perfect for hiking because they are thin and allow air to move in my shoes so my feet stay much cooler and drier than with other socks. I also love that I can take my shoes off while stopping for a snack and in just minutes the socks are dry and cool again. For some reason I only buy the white ones and one headache is that they become permanently stained with dirt after a few long hikes. That's my only complaint.

I see the mistake I made
The socks are exactly as described, I just failed to check carefully. The mixture of wool and nylon produces an uncomfortable feeling, and sweaty feet.

These are my "Go To" socks for warmth and comfort!!!
I wear these socks alone, like slippers, in loose fitting shoes for warmth and a large number of work shoes and boots for extra warmth (damp or dry -NEVER fails.) These are my "go to socks," regardless of the weather conditions! The best!

Comfortable Sock
I wear this as a sock rather than liner. They are comfortable and wear well. It is a looser knit than I was expecting, but they are still comfortable.

These original liner crew socks (now Hike Classic Edition) are a must have in your sock drawer for all season hiking enthusiasts. Under thicker winter socks for improved breathability and extra insulation against cold spots. And even over Ininji toe socks in lighter winter areas like Arizona where the thinner fabric uppers of running shoes has cold spots too. These liners are in a league until themselves. Again, a must, must have!

Wish I had bought size smaller
Im a women's size 8 and bought size medium per size chart but wish I had gotten them in a small. The ankle rib is only at the top of sock and so they fall down a bit in my hiking boots. I find myself pulling them up too frequent but I love the fabric and would buy again in a size smaller
