Warm and comfy
Surprised my husband with this for Christmas. Usually he doesn't like beanies because they are tight and give him headaches but he LOVES this one! Glad we found something that keeps him warm!

Great fit, warm and comfortable
I have a large head and most beanies I purchase are too small. Not this one. Fits me very nicely and is soft, warm, and comfortable.

Great but runs large
This product has the feel and finish you'd expect from Smartwool. And I love the color options on these hats as well. I'd give this a 5 star rating but as others have posted, the sizing is off. I have a large head and wear XL helmets. These hats are too large for me. I would think they would be impossible to wear for the average size noggin.

Perfect weight for all day use

I believe this long beanie size is meant to be a slouch beanie. You don't put it all the way in like ski mask. I like it.

Just what I would expect from Smartwool. A Quality Beanie!
I really like this beanie. It's perfect for the cold weather when I take my Springer for his long walks. The color is fabulous and I like that it's reversible. I thought I might react to the wool, but the blend seems to do the trick.

awesome winter hat! too bad it's so big. maybe I could take it camping and sleep in it. or take it apart and make hats for me and all of my friends. how many herds of livestock are standing around naked after making my hat? how has the construction of my hat affected the economy in the village? i'll just cut a head hole and wear it as a tunic! But it really is a nice hat, wish i could wear it.

Runs large
Nice beanie, but much too wide and deep for my head. I'm not tiny and other beanies fit fine, this seems to run large if you have a smaller dome it appears. Had to return it unfortunately.

High Quality, perfect for fall and winter Montana recreation
Great feeling hat, smart wool products always live up to a high standard. I use this hat on the ski slopes, hiking, fly fishing, anything in the Montana outdoors in the fall and winter.
