bernard B : i want this compression sack for my kelty eclipse sleeping bag "regular size" but i dont know which sack im going to take..could you guys please help me to choose wath fits for my sleeping bag?i want it to compress thightly so that i have more space on my pack..ROBERT L : I bought the one with the green top for what I consider is a regular size sleeping bag. If you are looking to conserve space for a long backpacking trip I'd skip the compression sack and look at a lightweight sleeping bag and liner. The compression sack did not do the job for me plus it added weight. Mid way thru the trip one of the clips broke and the bag started to rip. Might be OK for weekend trips with less stuff in your pack.BRAD R : Worked great for my slumberjack. If the dimensions are similar for the kelty, my guess is that it would work fine.BRUCE R : Benard, I bought a 10x20 compression sack, the red one for the same thing. 1. It is big, and if I guess right and you have a compressable sleeping bag for backpaking it's way too big. 2. If you want one that is right sized I'd guess the small yellow one 8 x 17 might work if it's not too big. The chances of any of those being too small are almost zero for you. Now... if you have a wife/gf with you who doesn't have the patience to stuff the bag right then your on your own, I have 4 (girls) and none of them want to do it right. Other than that the bag is fine.TIM C : Had no problems with this compression sack. Stitching is good and straps are well attached. Squeezes my North Face 40 degree bag into a space.WILLIAM S : I use the xl stuff sack for my -20 degree Slumberjack sleeping bag.Jeppedy J : Indeed the Blue one, the largest, I believe, is big enough for anything I've thrown at it. Here's what's great about these sacks: Even if you buy one a little too large, it still compresses pretty well and ends just almost as small as you would want. The big differentiator is the diameter, as if you want a small diameter, you cannot just compress down a wider one. The red one would probably accommodate all but the largest, XXL bags.ASHLEY N : I bought the red bag (i believe this is the 2nd largest) for my 20-degree short length down sleeping bag and it is slightly too big. For a standard size sleeping nag you could probably get the red one or one size down. You can always use an extra strap or belt to compress it more.
Shopper : Why Did You Choose This?ROBERT W : Good quality stuff sack and takes up very little room in your pack.

Great for our purpose

We have chosen this for our kids to take on a long trip that has limited luggage allowances. They can pack it and close it by themselves. We are very pleased with the product

Heavy compared to other same products

Too bulky, too much cordage, the material used isn't light weight as the other brands I have listed below. Check other websites for better products at same prices.
