We (2 adults) camped with our large dog. It was our first time using our new Tabernash 4. We previously had a Meteorlight 3 from 1994 which we loved and used for years. The Tabernash packs up nicely. Set up: -was a bit more involved than our precious tent. But not too complex. -rain fly could be easier to put up. Challenging with the channel and the Velcro loops to attach to the tent poles. Comfort/Function -very spacious, lots of room for our dog. -like the storage pockets and the gear loft. -the entire top is screen so if there is any weather or desire for privacy we have to use the rainfly. It would be nice to not have to. -Rainfly vestibule was cumbersome design. Need to unzip both zippers and role it up ant secure. -we stayed warm and comfortable all night with the rainfly up. -tub is good material and a good depth. Takedown/Pack up: -pretty easy except getting the pole out of the rainfly channel. Pack your patience. The pole kept coming apart and we had to slowly work it out. Rolling up was simple and it fit cack in the tent nicely. Overall: Satisfied. -With more use/practice I hope to get used to the rainfly set up. -great value for car camping. -quality materials stood up to our Great Dane/Great Pyrenees mix. -We would buy it again.

Used this for the first time up at Pinnacles NP last weekend. Easy to put up and take down. Plenty of room inside; used 2 cots instead of sleeping on the floor. Tight fit, but we made it work. My only complaint are the stake outs for the rainfly vestibule. Wish it had been "free standing" because there are just too many stake out points to trip over.

Good tent. Good setting up. (A little tricky finding the inside sleeve for the rain fly pole). Excellent tent especially for the cost.

Bought this tent in summer of 2021, the tent pitches in minutes and is pretty self-explanatory. On our first trip, we stayed 2 nights in it - the 2nd night there was a pretty aggressive storm. We were dry, cool and calm. The rain fly vestibule is a nice feature. My only complaint is the fully-sleeved pole for the rain fly, this makes it easy to put up, but a pain to disassemble. Aside from that, the tent is awesome!

Solid. Plenty of room. Easy up! Easy down. No real weather test yet but stoked so far!
