Petzl OK Oval Shaped Screw-Lock Carabiner
The Petzl OK Oval Shaped Screw-Lock Carabiner is a compact, lightweight, manual locking, symmetric carabiner. The easy to use Screw-Lock was designed for use with pulleys and transportation systems. The red band indicates when the 'biner is unlocked to keep you climbing confidently. This device is perfect for sport climbing or mountaineering in dirty environments where dust and dirt cause an automatic locking mechanism to malfunction. You can use two carabiners locking or none, with the gates in reverse direction, for a safe redundancy. The pear shape facilitates use with the Munter hitch for single ropes. The Petzl OK Oval Shaped Screw-Lock Carabiner has a perfect shape and size, for a great all around biner. This biner works great with petzl traction pulleys and is the perfect big wall biner. It's really light too. Many pulleys need an oval-shaped carabiner to work properly The OK carabiner is designed for just that.
