Platypus Drinking Tube Kit

I used this extra tube to attach my katadyn water filtration pump directly to my platypus 3L bladder during my fall elk hunt. It was an excellent addition to my water kit. I never had to remove my bladder from my pack. Just unscrewed the tube running through my pack, screwed this one on and attached the other end (minus the drinking tip) to my pump and started filling.

I am a children's ski coach, this drink tube kit coupled the .5 liter soft bottle turned upside down in a ski jacket works great to allow kids and adults to get hydration thru out the day.

I bought this to use with a 2L Platy bottle that I have. It turns the bottle into a great ultralight bladder/camp reservoir. If you use a hole punch through the bottom portion of the bladder where the plastic isn't welded (you can see the areas that appear to be made for this) and run a short length of paracord through it you can hang it in your pack for use as a bladder and hang it from a tree in camp (adding a push/pull valve at camp helps too) to make it the most versatile it can be. This hose kit makes any Platy bottle extremely versatile. Highly recommended.
