Over engineered

First let me say, I'm a fan of osprey packs however this daypack doesn't seem to pack well imo. If you put a full bladder in the pack, it doesn't leave a lot of space for anything else. I felt it had too many pockets and zippers which just added to the weight. The hipbelt pockets were too small to hold a regular iphone. I had to return it, hopefully it will be updated.

Great fit; nice daypack

I have two other Osprey packs and love the women-specific features. I bought this Sirrus for casual hiking and walking to town for groceries and other supplies. I got the right fit after watching a Youtube that showed that the hipbelt pad in front should be centered over the pelvic bone - not above it as I had incorrectly done. The torso adjustment "ladder" is a nice feature. I am 5'7" and measured my torso at 15.6", and found the second shortest adjustment to work the best at keeping the shoulder straps from riding up. This is really a comfortable and well fitting pack for me.

Nowhere to carry phone for easy access

Regular iPhone doesn't fit in hip pockets and there's nowhere to carry your phone in the pack for easy access. This is a super annoying! Everyone needs easy phone access- whether it be to access downloaded trail map info or for taking photos. I didn't like the way that trekking poles are stowed either. They kept coming loose and swinging (It could've been due to the hiking terrain of climbing and bending?) Apart from that, the pack was very comfortable on a 12 mile hike with a lot of bouldering and climbing. I'm 5'9 and the fit was perfect. I wouldn't buy this pack again or recommend it- there are other packs out there that can accommodate a phone.

Love love love Osprey packs!

Love love love Osprey packs! I own an outdoor adventure school so I have only Osprey packs for my students to use. I feel if I've introducing people to outdoor adventures they should use gear that ensures they will enjoy the journey. Also, students like to use what I use. I bought a new Sirrus 24 so I could have a new color and cycled my old one but still in great condition, to the gear room!

I love the color of this bag! My boyfriend has a much older Osprey of this volume/size and mine seems like it could hold much more than the older one. So far I've hiked with it here and there but not carried too much weight in it and it's been fantastic. The waist belt is taking a little longer to break in due to the thickness of the side pouches, but I'm sure it will wear in soon!

M husband and I each

M husband and I each bought this pack for the Portuguese Camino, having to carry all of our gear for a two week trek. Great pack for our purpose! Lots of places to stash things we needed more immediate access too, easy to adjust straps to fit. Lightweight. Looks good too!

My Favorite Day Hiking Pack

This is the perfect size for a half-day to full-day hike. I'm able to fit extra layers, chacos, food, a 2L bladder, first-aid kit and others things honestly. I love the airspeed suspension system. Yes, if you're a sweaty person, you'll still sweat, but the airflow is insane and the bag feels weightless on the body. Fit it correctly to your body shape and you'll have the time of your life. Happy Hiking!

Perfect size for day hikes, fits like a dream

Wanted a true daypack that would fit enough gear to accommodate a wide range of climates/temps etc. I can put clothing layers, jacket, rain pants or even a change of shoes. Food, socks, 2 large Nalgene bottles and a bladder if I wanted (I don't but that's my own thing). Ventilation is important as I am on the East Coast and we have humidity! For the person that said it was too big they make XS - L sizes. You should always size your pack in the store with weighted sandbags to mimic your loads as well. If the XS is too small then you probably need a kids sized pack. I am 5'4 and have the M size. The small may have been a better fit technically but I liked the extra shoulder room on the M.

My Hydration Pack Unicorn

I was looking for a hydration pack unicorn. Wanted pockets, a frame, accessible pockets, lightweight, made to fit a woman, comfortable, and with pockets. Did I mention pockets? The Sirrus 24 is my unicorn. Super lightweight, and fits a woman with real hips! Big enough with lots of different sized and easily accessible pockets to carry our light jackets, sunscreen, a few extra clothes, phones, food and snacks, wallets, keys, wipes, the hydration bladder, and everything else without digging through the vast one catch all most lightweight packs have. While looking for a new all day pack, I literally tried on 20+ different packs from various stores and so many different brands and was let down each time. Sure we own smaller and larger hydration packs, but nothing fits like this one.

Like a hug

I am very attached to my Osprey backpacking bag (Aura) and chose this one because it hugs me the same way. There are five notches on the back for adjusting the length, and I wear it on the middle one (5'3, average-ish proportions). Another reviewer mentioned the bag touching their head, and for me that doesn't happen even if I lay my head all the way back. The other bag I tried on was the Arcteryx Aerios 30, which comes in cuter colors and is somehow more affordable(?!!), but it turned out the Sirrus looked much neater and streamlined when loaded with the heavy/lumpy things I wanted to carry.

Perfect Day Pack

I have used this pack for a year and a half in all seasons, it is a great size and holds enough for an extended day or a trip to the theme parks. It has hundreds of miles and still in perfect shape. The breathability is fantastic for the summer months in the South.
