My son has never been fussy in this carrier, and it's so comfortable to wear out or around the house. It always puts him to sleep right away, and proof is in the picture!

Great for hiking and walking! I have no back pain when using this. It is a little hard to get on an off alone, but doable. The sun shade is nice and the pockets hold my phone, keys, and a snack and sunscreen stick.

I'm really pleased with the Poco? Soft Child Carrier from Osprey! It's been a fantastic purchase for our family hikes. My daughter feels very comfortable in it and often falls asleep during our walks, which shows how cozy and secure she feels. The carrier is easy to carry, and the straps are comfortable for me as a parent. The design is practical, and I love how well-made it feels. I highly recommend this child carrier to any parents who enjoy outdoor adventures with their little ones!

I really like this pack - the mesh, the material, the quality - but there are a few missing features that make it less of a slam dunk. First - there's no carry bag to fold it into and put away. Osprey always has a rain cover tucked into a pocket, a mesh carry bag would have been ideal. Second and the most critical - you can only get the baby in by unhooking across your back. Lots of other carriers have a front hook for putting the baby in or taking them out. It's hard to reach between your shoulder blades and keep the baby secure at the same time. And finally - I wish the support across the back was better. It has hip support, but otherwise nothing across your mid/upper back except the hook to secure the shoulders. I've tried tightening as far as I can go, but ultimately I can't wear this for long walks without my mid/upper back aching.

I have had this carrier for a little while. I am saying it's alright. I think it's much better than the Ergo Baby Omni 360 I had in terms of comfort. The 360 is probably the closest popular baby carrier to compare to this carrier. I am using this with a 23-pound, 13-month old baby so I have no idea of its usefulness for a new baby. I wouldn't take this hiking, personally. It's fine for stores, walking around the house, short walks to the park/in the park, and places where you couldn't use a stroller or a larger baby hiking pack. For hiking, I would definitely stick with one of Ospreys framed child carriers or a Deuter. They're going to have way better support for uneven terrain and distributing the load. We use a Deuter for hiking. If you are a spinning person, I have used this carrier back carry to ride on my spinning bike. It works. It's decently comfortable and not adding pain to a workout. Pros: -The fabric seems sturdier than the 360. -I like the folding system for adjusting it rather than the velcro the 360 has or the snaps the MomCozy Ergonomic carrier has. Although, the snaps in the MomCozy definitely feel more secure. -it's easier to understand how to use than the 360. -it does seem more generous in terms of size than the Omni 360. -The wide belt is really nice. The 360 uses narrower webbing for a portion of the waist part and it can cut into your sides, or wherever. -There are stretchy pockets on the waistband, of course, if you are back carrying, they are not going to be easy to reach. -I like that the chest strap is adjustable in position. -I think you might be able to use the area behind the front pocket for more storage, for like burp clothes, or a rain jacket that is rolled up or something. Cons: -The weight limit is kind of low at 33 pounds for back carry. The 360 goes up to 44 pounds, theoretically. -It does seem to pull too much in the shoulders. I wish it had a setup more similar to my Osprey day pack, with load lifters and all of that. -It could use some shoulder strap pockets. -it's still really awkward if you're going to put it on by yourself to back carry. There should really be an instructional video posted here on how to do that. -I am smaller plus-sized right now between long-Covid and having a baby. I can use this carrier; I still have a few inches on each side of the belt left. If you are bigger than smaller plus-sized, I don't know that this carrier would work for you. I will say I think it has more room than the omni 360, so if you tried that one and it just barely didn't work for you, this one might work for you. The belt part has the ability to come completely off, so if Osprey could offer an extension or a longer belt, this carrier could work for way more people. If you are a crafty person, since the belt does come off, you might be able to rig something else up to get an extension. -it's kind of expensive for this kind of carrier, but I also feel that the price is reasonable since it does seem sturdier. If you look hard enough, you can find framed Osprey Pocos for reasonable prices, not much more than this carrier. A soft carrier needs to be what you want if you're going to spend this kind of money. In the end, I got this because I was looking for something that was more comfortable than the Omni 360 and sturdier than the MomCozy ergonomic carrier I have. I wanted something that could be used in a situation where strollers aren't going to work and it's not enough walking for a structured hiking carrier. I do wish that Osprey had made something that was essentially a baby backpack. Like if I could strap my baby into this somehow and just swing him around on my back like a backpack, that's sort of what I would like. This is the kind of carrier where it's just your baby against your back or chest. The baby is not in any kind of harness. Ideally, I would want something with a harness that packs flat and doesn't have the big frame. The closest thing to what I am envisioning are the Phil and Teds packs and I haven't tried them to say whether or not they meet my requirements for sure. I would pick this over the Omni 360. I think it's much more comfortable to wear. I think it's probably going to last longer because it's made of sturdier stuff. I think it's generally more outdoor-friendly. I think it's easier to put on than the 360, which for some reason seems complicated. The wider straps and belts are really nice.

LOVE the new Osprey Carrier. We have had our baby in it since she was a newborn and love it because it's breathable and fits both of us. The shade is a nice bonus too where many carriers don't come with one and it has pockets!! Ideal for walks and hiking.
