I got this bag before my UK trip. I loved it for the easy of wearing it on my back or sliding it to the front when on public transit. I do wish that the small pocket had two zipper as when I would sling it forward the zipper would be on the bottom and thing could fall out. I was able to put a lot of items in the big pocket and with the two zippers on that one it was easy to open it in different parts to open up different sides to get items. I would suggest also an optional strap that could go around the waste to keep it from sliding when its full.

I'm a serious Osprey fan, easily purchasing more than a dozen packs, but this just doesn't work for me. It's not quite big enough, and although the product demo shows two pulls on the smaller pocket zipper, there is in actuality only one. When you swing the bag to the front for easy access, the zipper on smaller pocket opens on the bottom and things easily dump out. The small pocket on the strap is too small to be useful. I used the bag as an every day bag for two weeks ... I live in a casual, outdoor oriented community and walk around town on errands every day. I also walk my dog every day, frequently in a large state park close by. I needed a bit more room to stash a small purchase, carry a water bottle, a snack/dog treats, and an extra layer. It's well made, and was comfortable, but I'll pass it along. The Patagonia Atom works well for me. An aside ... I often use an Osprey Vibe that's a dozen years old, and am asked frequently where I got it. It's a wonderful pack ... it rides a bit lower than I'd like (I'm 5'2"), but has time and time again been my choice. No longer made ... I save it for "best" because it always fits the bill! Are you listening Osprey?

This is great, especially when I'm wearing clothes without pockets. Big enough for a water bottle, glasses/sunglasses, snack, wallet, keys and phone. I use it all the time. Highly recommended.

I have both the old and new design. I love that the new design no longer has the mesh on the front panel- it wears down, becomes loose over time and is hard to clean. The new design is great except for one major flaw- the zipper position especially for the small zipper compartment. The idea of a sling bag is so you can slight it to the front to take out what you need, with the small zipper having a top load I have had stuff fall out of it because the zipper does not extend down the side. I know people love that you can change the side you wear it, but they should design it so you can use the zippers without risking stuff falling out and actually LOAD it from the side. One last thing I would have liked was more pockets inside the main compartment like the old design, but it was nice to see a zipper pouch added inside, but again the design even inside the large compartment is NOT made for loading it from the side which defeats the purpose of a good sling bag. Really hoping they come out with a better redesign for the zipper placement and internal pockets so you can more easily side load- like the old model. Love that there is no longer mesh on the front. Please update this!!

I just took the bag to Europe for a week and plan to take it again in October. I love the volume and versatility of the bag. The only thing I did not care for was I wish it had the 2 meeting zippers for the smaller front compartment like the larger middle compartment

I love this bag. I have to wear glasses to read so always have to have them with me when I'm out and about. This bag is perfect for carrying my eye glasses, sun glasses, wallet, & cell phone?and another other little thing like chapstick or breath spray. It's the perfect size, has the perfect amount of storage compartments, and fits perfectly across the body.

I hike 3 miles a day with my dogs and use this bag to carry water for us and a special dog watering bottle. Very versatile with left / right loops on the bottom of the bag to snap the shoulder strap. I use an 18 inch bungee cord between the front buckle of the shoulder strap and the unused bottom loop to prevent the bag from falling forward off my shoulder when I bend over.

This is a completely different design then the Osprey sling I have now and purchased not too long ago. Originally bought for easy camera gear access. Everything about this new design looks WAY better....double pocket zippers, the ability to switch from left to right. The old design doesn't allow the switch. Different material along the back of it. Even the strap itself is completely redesigned and looks more comfortable. I guess I will be ordering this new design. What am I going to do with the older design one I own that I don't like as much because the old material they used is so slippery? Maybe use it to keep supplement bottles separate in my suitcase? Honestly this old design was not breathable and felt hot to carry. I am pretty sure I will love this new design. Fingers crossed. I will return with a review of this new design :-)

I purchased the Daylite Plus in Umber Orange Verdigris Green and was so pleased with the color I went back and bought each item in this color. I recently retired. My friends and I are getting out to bike ride, walk, day trips, and travel. I use the Daylite waist when we bike ride or walk. I like the Daylite Sling when we are out longer and I want to carry more items still hands free. The Daylite Plus is perfect for both long bike rides and Day Hikes. I bought the Daylite Tote for a trip to Europe. It works as the personal item in lieu of my purse. I like that I can carry it as a tote and convert it to a backpack going through airports, buses, and dayhikes.
