We love flying to Orlando for trips to Universal Studios and each member in our family of 4 has their own Osprey Daylite bag. It makes it so much easier and more efficient not having to check bags.

I was a little concerned stepping down from a larger tactical pack since I walk so much but my new lightweight pack from Osprey is supper functional on top of being less bulky. The design is so precise I don't need to use the chest strap because the shoulder straps shape makes the pack set just right. And I can still fit two six packs when I need to despite the smaller pack.

I use this for my day pack, long hikes and bike riding. To carry snacks and water for me and the dogs. Feels great to wear all day. Laptop sleeve is great to organize for quick items you might need like ammo, bike light/headlamp things like that. I'm about 6'2" and 265Lbs and the pack still fits me.

After using an Osprey hiking backpack for several years, I knew the brand would be my choice for a smaller backpack. The size is perfect, and it is a nice, light weight. As a 5'2" woman, I am happy to report that it adjusts perfectly to my frame. I often walk to play rehearsals and music lessons. I put my iPad in the padded pocket, and there is room for my script, water bottle and other accessories (like snacks!) The quality is great, and I feel that it will be reliable for quite some time!

Awesome. . . I was running from gate D36-C52 in Atlanta Georgia USA airport I had no time to make my flight got to the gate at last call. Pack was about 15 # the book I carried was 3# the book stayed put though out my whole adventure. I slung the pack on my back to walk quickly it felt like I was carrying nothing at all. It was easy to organize and the pockets zippers were large enough so you could easily find your items. .

Stuffed this pack with all my electronic gadgets for a week in Oaxaca as its first trip and it did not disappoint. Lots of small item storage locations. Was filled to the brim with clothes and camera equip. and water in a shuttle van and didnt get shredded to pieces. Very happy with it so far.

My previous Daylight Plus couldn't be repaired but this version I like so much better. The side pockets are functional now and just a bunch of other little things like the handle, front pocket design with a top zipper instead of the side, and I prefer the straps better. Grateful for the upgrade and to hopefully get a lot of years out of the pack like I did my previous one.

Solid backpack for short-to-medium hikes and for the office (if you can bear the hiker look). Main compartment is small but enough for my laptop and some books. The front compartment is a great for quick-access stuff like gloves, a beanie or a light jacket. The mesh on the water bottle side pockets feels nice and durable. It's also really comfortable and feels sturdy thanks to the hip belt. Only downside is that I wish I can tuck away the long, dangling straps. Still, it's a great buy and I'm happy I got it!

Doesn't have male buckles to clip into the female buckles on the Farpoint 36 straps. That was disappointing. Had to strap it onto the Farpoint with the external compression straps. Otherwise, nice little daypack.

This pack is perfect for when you are out and about for the day. I got this for my Japan trip and I found it to be a great size -- not too heavy, but could still fit in the daily essentials. I also use this bag when traveling sometimes since it fits under the seat with plenty of leg/foot room. There is a laptop compartment in the main compartment, a smaller compartment for pens, and a mini zip in the front that's good for wallets/passports/small things you need easy access for.

More than how absolutely adorable and compact and beautiful my pack is, I want to say that their customer service has created a lifetime customer in me. When my earlier bag's zipper broke I sent it to them for free repair! They mailed back to me some cherished photographs and a notebook I hadn't even realized I'd mistekenly left in the back compartment of the pack I'd mailed to them for repair. It was lovely of them and way beyond what was required! I was floored . When they couldn't fix the zipper on the old pack, they wrote to me right away and allowed me to pick a brand new beautiful pack. it arrived sooner after and I LOVE it. This is how you run a company and create very loyal, very satisfied customers! Many thanks to all involved!

I'm a rather casual hiker/walker and was very intimidated by many of the hiking backpacks I saw online. Many were too big or had too many pockets and features. This backpack has the right amount of space, features for comfort, and number of accessible pockets for what I needed it for. For a few hours of hiking you can easily fit layers, lunch, first aid kit, water bottle, sunscreen, etc. This is really a great bag for a short day trip and I'm excited to use it for years to come!

I received this particular Daylite model as a replacement from an older (2017) model. The zipper on the older model seperated from the pack material. I came to understand Osprey's "Almighty Guarantee" and sent the older Dylite model in under their warranty policy. The old pack could not be repaired so Osprey sent this model free of charge as a replacement. I cannot say enough about a company standing behind their products. I will definately consider Osprey as a first choice for any pack needs in the future. Incidentally the older Daylite model had seen many miles of travel and wear and tear before the zipper finally gave out. The new model has improved as the compartments seem larger and , more specifically, the side pockets seem to handle a taller water bottle more adequately.

I wanted a robust school backpack for my 6 and 10 year olds, that can also work as a hiking backpack in the summers. The size is perfect on these for school binders, laptops, and all the supplies without being too bulky. I love that we can slide their shoes in the front pockets for PE to keep the inside from getting stinky. Its not too bulky, or too small. . . its just right for both of them. I hope they will last for many years

I needed a daypack for a trip I was going on and grabbed one of the clearance colors. It's very comfortable, the back is wonderfully breathable, and it held a lot! Now my husband is borrowing it for a work backpack and also loves it.
