Received the item in a timely fashion. Fit to actual size listed. Light in weight even after pouring rain fell down on it. Protected my head well from the hot sun. Element of wicking allowed to maintain totally dry scalp. Chin cord stayed firmly in place. Product lived up to features listed. Will recommend to others.

This is a replacement for one I had for 5years, outstanding hat keeps your head cool, and very light weight for those hiking adventures, and a fantastic price, compared to other sites, great job with the Veterans discount. Don't pass this up.

This is my second Sombriolet Sun hat. It caught my eye because I have bought so many sun hats that squeeze my larger than average head to the point of headaches. The large size was just what I needed. The brim is a perfect size for shading my face. The vents actually prevented sweat from dripping down into my eyes, and, I thought I was pretty cute as well. I would recommend this hat to anyone spending time outside.

This hat can be stuffed into a pocket, but the rim quickly returns to its round form for good shade. The rim has enough stiffness to return to form after a stiff breeze pushes it up or down. Very useful for sunny climes. It fits my large (XL) head and has an adjustment to make a tighter fit.

I'm a big fan of OR's Swift cap, so I bought this one for trips to the beach. No complaints so far. Medium fits my bald head (22.25")perfectly. in windy conditions I was able to just tighten it a bit, and the hat stayed in place.

I really like OR products. This hat is very comfortable and lightweight. It has two ways to keep it on your head if wind becomes an issue. It has a drawstring you can cinch, and if the wind becomes too much for that, you can use a chin strap. I intend to wear this hat on a regular basis, even around town. I've always liked being in the shade and this hat makes it easy.

I had mentioned that this hat has a thin wire in the brim to help maintain the brim shape. Therefore I am BAFFLED as to the packaging that Sunny Sports shipped it in. It was FOLDED up and crammed into a box that measured 6x6x6. It took lots of fiddlin' and rebending to try and get the brim back into some semblance of a normal hat shape. Still not right, but usable. This folded hat brim deal has been a MAJOR bummer. DEMAND a different pack job than I got if you get the opportunity.

Use for hiking and backpacking as well as outdoor gardening where the sun is an issue.
