My go to. Pros- lightweight, dries quickly, not overly fitted or too boxy, breathable, and fabric isn't scratchy or rubs in weird places. Cons- the price, and finding my size. This is one of the first things pulled out when packing for long hike or 14er.

I love the Echo Hoodie! I bought it in white & black for my trip to the Canadian Rockies! It is the perfect piece to wear over or under other pieces, as well as a stand alone. The material is very breathable, perfect for hot Summer hiking (or playing pickleball!) I own 3 of the Echo long sleeve shirts as well?all staples in my wardrobe!

This is a terrific sun hoodie. I purchased it in a variety of colors to wear for my summer activities. My favorite color is the azalea. I like light colored fabrics. But the fabric is thin, so I am careful to wear appropriate under garments. The thin fabric is an advantage in other ways. I bought them oversized for better air flow. And I could really notice the cooling benefit wearing the hood during hot sunny hikes. The thumb holes are great, keeps the sleeves where I need them. Please more light colors! I bought some as gifts as well. They too are enjoying their hoodies!

I bought this shirt for hiking in the hot summers in Phoenix for sun protection. It was worth every penny. It's lightweight and comfortable. My new go to hiking shirt.

Wore this hiking in the desert heat and it provided protection from the strong UV and was light-weight & breathable. Got this shirt drenched during a canyon hike and it dried within the hour. Great purchase!

I have to wear long sleeve shirts in the summer to protect my Irish sunburn prone skin. I love the feel of this hoodie even with the hood over my head in the hot sun I felt cool and protected. I usually struggle in the heat with hoodies even if they claim to be comfy in the heat but this one is light enough and loose enough to do the job!

The product description stated slim fit, so to be sure it would be comfortable over a base layer I chose the M size rather than the S. However, the M is much larger and looser than I expected and has longer sleeves than I anticipated. It is not a slim fit and a S would have been better. Overall I am happy with this item.

This is my absolute best sun hoodie ever! The ponytail hole is critical. The ability to not have my hair pressed against my neck is amazing. It is super lightweight weight and drys quickly. I recommend this hoodie to literally everyone.

The fabric on this shirt is the best I've found, super light weight and breathable, so it works perfectly on the hottest days. The fit is wonderful; plenty long in the sleeves and body. The hood fits perfectly and even covers the chin if needed. Love the ponytail hole! This is my go-to sun shirt!

The hoodie is made of a super lightweight and soft fabric; I've worn it in the field a couple times, the hood works well to keep the sun off my neck and face, but the fabric has gotten a couple pulls from bush whacking through thick understory growth.

Not gonna lie, I wasn't sure this hoodie was going to live up to the reviews, but it does. It *is* somehow cooler than bare skin in hot weather. I also wasn't sure about the fit before ordering. I don't like things tight. I'm a 36B and the large fits perfectly. It skims without being clingy or constricting, and is surprisingly flattering. The rhubarb color is especially sharp!

Not only is the cut absolutely flattering but this shirt actually cools you down. I almost wanted to throw away all my other sun shirts because non come close to the comfort and protection this one provides.

I love this hoodie. I have probably owned six. They are great for hot weather activities in the Southeast. The ponytail hole is awesome to keep hair from getting sweaty on your neck. The only thing I noticed recently, is the patterned version in the same size as the solid color is quite a bit smaller. I don't know if that is a quality control thing or what. They both fit, but the solid is baggy and the sleeves are too long.

I've had my echo sun hoody for at least 4 years and it's still one of my go-to adventure shirts. Love the ponytail opening and breathable yet protective material. I've hiked in this shirt anywhere from 1 mi to 20+ in a day. I only wish OR would make the women's shirt in some muted earthy tones (like the men's) !! I would keep buying them, but I'm sick of neon and grey!

I like this hoody so much I have it in 6 different colors! It's soooo comfortable and extremely lightweight. I'm 5' tall, about 120-125 lbs, with a curvy, athletic figure and the size XS fits well. Overall it's not too loose and not too tight, just slightly fitted on my muscular arms). It's quite long, but I just let it bunch up a bit and it looks just fine. (I also bought one in a small when I feel like having a bit of looser fit and it also looks great!) The only thing I don't like about it is that it's not as breathable as I'd like it to be when doing high output activity in hot weather. I'm one of those people who overheats really easily and I often find myself wishing so badly that this hoody had a quarter zip! This would honestly be the PERFECT long sleeve layer if it only had a quarter zip to dump heat when needed. I have 4 of the old Outdoor Research Flyway hoodies, which have a1/4 zip, and they have been my absolute favorite long sleeve tops to wear for years, but the Echo is just so much lighter. Merging the two would be my dream long sleeve shirt! It would make the Echo so much more versatile.

I have two of these shirts and really like them. They are cool even on hot days, fit true to size (5'1", 130lb, I wear a small), and are a solid price when you can snag them on sale. Only lost a star for durability -- the seams on the inner arm tend to snag on back pack straps, harness; I've gotten a few holes (none of which impact the use of the shirt) after a season of climbing/scrambling. All in all, I will defo keep using them and then likely replace them when they are spent!

Confused because the echo shirts from two seasons ago had a bit of a thicker material. This one is very thin, see-through, and holds smell, which is unfortunate because I purchase them for working outdoors.

I have tried many hoodies and this is definitely my favorite ultralight. Form-fitting but not too tight. Crazy lightweight with great wind protection. Nice long sleeves with super comfortable thumb inserts. Hood fits like a glove and has fantastic neck coverage. I purchased in gray and white.

I love this sun hoodie. It is so nice and light and the hood actually stays up and protects you from the sun. I love that I can stick my ponytail out the back and actually keep my hood up in wind and skiing downhill, it does not fly off. I always feel so hot with a hood on but this one is not too bad. I will never buy another sun hoodie, these are the best. I highly recommend!

I love the ultralight material that this shirt has. I use it on hot days in the sun or as a base layer in cooler weather. Just wish the shipping was faster when ordering from the website. Not a big deal but two weeks for it to arrive is kind of 70s. Runs a little large but that works for me. Overall tho, love the shirt!

I work as a biologist in tropical areas that are hot and humid. This shirt is light enough that I don't get overheated, great for sun protection, and quick dry so I don't feel sticky while in the field. I'm not sure if the lightweight material will hold up in constant bushwhacking but it's great for everything else!
