Love accessing things from the side rather than the top of a duffle.

Heavy duty. Like the roll top. Looks like it will last. I think the concerns I’ve read elsewhere about the cinch system are well founded. If the bag’s not full, the compression straps will come loose. Not too much of a worry for me as I expect I’ll have it bulging on expedition river floats. It would be nice if it had a backpack option. Leaving the river you’re on for an overnight trek up a tributary creek would make that option handy. Love the loops for hanging gear on the outside!

This bag is HUGE! It easily accommodated all of the gear that we wanted to bring on our backcountry kayaking trip. We ended up splitting the contents up between the red bag and orange bag for weight balancing purposes. If we were rafting the orange 60L bag would not have been needed. The quality of this bag is excellent. The material is rugged, closures are tight, and there are so many tie down points that you’re sure not to loose your gear. If quality & large storage capacity is your need, I highly recommend this dry bag!

Glad I bought this bag

I bought this bag for a 4day raft trip down the Smith River in MT. It rained and snowed the whole time. The large capacity bag had plenty of room to spare to keep my clothes and hammock completely dry. I liked the ability to cinch the bag down...the clasps were easy to use...even with cold fingers. It was also awesome to be able to access everything on the bottom of the bag...unlike std dry bags where I have pull everything out to get to the bottom

I will buy more of these

Duffel's are the way to go and this one is sweet, No more butt up head buried into the top load dry bag. All your gear is right there and easy to organize.

High Roll duffel

Purchased this holiday wanting a small duffel style dry bag I did the 35L,. This cost less than watershed and serves the same purpose. I throw all my extra layers or potential layers for the day in it and is easy to access. Burly aluminum hooks for tie downs replace the plastic fastek style, prob more durable. Over the seasons Ive found duffel style drybags much easier to get to your gear and more attachments for securing to raft. I also purchased a similar style dry duffel from competitorCRG and it does not seem to be built as well I recommend NRS.

I like the new design.

I have used a lot of NRS dry bags over the years. I love having a duffel bag for the ease of use for packing. NRS High Roll Duffel Dry Bag is way stronger than my other dry bags. The material is great. I was stoked to use the aluminum fasteners as I have had the plastic clips come undone or break in the past. The aluminum fasteners are bullet proof. The one downside is using them in the cold. We had some snow on our trip, and my cold fingers had a hard time using the fasteners with the frozen webbing.

meh

I took this bag on a river trip for the first time this past week. The bag worked well but it is really hard to seal and if the bag isn't full then the latches don't seal down well which makes it more vulnerable to leaking. AT this point, i wouldn't purchase this bag again and would rather spend the extra money on the zipper duffle bag.

Sized right for a fishing kayak tankwell

Perfect size to fit in a tankwell of a fishing kayak with a crate also.

The NRS High Roll Duffel Dry Bags deliver the same rugged dependability as NRS's legendary Bill's Bags, but in a duffel-style design that makes packing your gear, and finding it later, easy. The bag is constructed with 21 oz. (595 g) PVC. Bag is expandable for large storage capacity but can be cinched down with compression straps to compact and stabilize gear. The Storm-Strip closure system provides a confident seal and allows for easy top loading access. The storm-strap, compression straps closure is a fold down design equipped aluminum fasteners on the compression straps increase durability and eliminate busted buckles. Cinch down to add extra pressure on the seal for the driest possible protection.

Webbing daisy chains on grab handle webbing offer ample attachment points to secure other items to the bag. The duffle bag is available multiple sizes and colors. You can choose between three capacities depending on your travel, or gear packing needs. The 35 liters (2,136 cu. in.) measures (Dia. x L) 12" x 20" (30.5cm x 51cm), and weighs 2.65 lbs. (1,2 kg), the 70 liters (4,272 cu. in.), measures (Dia. x L) 14" x 28" (35.6cm x 71cm)and weighs 3.35 lbs. (1.52 kg) and the 105 liters (6,407.5 cu. in.) measures (Dia. x L) 16" x 32" (40.64cm x 81.3cm) and weighs 3.65 lbs. (1.66 kg).
