I recently picked up this 3-person tent. It is surprisingly spacious and reasonably lightweight for its size. Thanks to the vertical walls, the interior doesn't feel cramped at all, and the peak height allows you to sit up comfortably. My partner and I shared it, and there was more than enough room for both of us and our bpacks inside. A major plus compared to similar designs is that both vestibules are the same size (compared to the Ferrino Pumori 2p). While the ventilation is optimal, it might be a bit too drafty for a standard 3-season rating. Shoulder seasons spring/autumn can be freezing in Canada, and the high winds of Patagonia might push its limits temperature wise, although structure looks solid. Color wise, it's not olive, mine is grey which is even better. It works with the MSR Hubba Hubba vestibule, which is a huge surprise. I really hope NEMO designs their own gear shed for this model I'd definitely buy it for longer trips. ***I love the footprint is included*** A few upgrades I'd like to see, a mesh on the outer windows, more internal storage pockets, and dual zippers on the fly. Even though it lacks the ripstop fabric that I am used to, the build quality feels premium. I'll be keeping an eye on its long-term durability during my next trips

I used the tent for one kayak camping trip and all went well. Typically I'd use an ultralight tent, but thought I'd get try the Aurora for a little more space and durability. I was concerned about the reviews that stated that gnats could get through the mesh. Visually, the mesh does look like it has larger openings than usual, but we had no problems with any insects getting through the mesh. I'm not sure how the steeper, higher walls will do in a storm, but there seems to be plenty of places to tie off the rainfly, so I'm hopeful. Tent has several internal storage pockets and seems well constructed. The rainfly is heavier than the (other brand ultralight) tent that I typically use, which is fine because this Aurora is not advertised as ultralight, but otherwise the materials seem pretty consistent with an UL. It'd be pretty cool if Nemo had a lighter weight rainfly that folks could buy as an optional accessory. Maybe that way this tent could more easily transition between car or boat camping and backpacking?

My first trip in this tent we got hail, sleet, heavy rain, and high winds- this tent weathered all of it better than I could have imagined. Others in my group had water infiltration and structural stability issues with their respective tents given the high winds, and this Aurora took the beating like a champ. When we packed the tent out after 8 hours of continuous rain the ground was still bone dry under the ground cloth. I couldn't be happier with how it performed.

I set this up last night and it was super easy to set up and break down. Lightweight and easily fit in my pack. A great addition to my backpacking and motorcycle camping kit!

I used the Aurora for a full week during a hot and humid summer camp in Japan, and it held up great. It definitely got a bit warm inside with the rain fly on (we had to keep it on for coed camping at scout camp), but without it, it definitely would've been much cooler. The build quality is impressive, especially the rain fly, which feels thick and durable (in a good way). We didn't get any rain, but I'm confident it would handle a storm well. It was roomy and comfortable, with plenty of space to move around and store gear. The vestibules created by the rain fly provide additional usable space. Overall, it's a solid summer tent I'd happily use again.

Bought 2P recently. First trip out for dog and I had a really bad storm. Rain for hours. All dry inside. Plenty of room. Next trip to Alaska and I am worried about some on-line reviews saying no-seeum mesh is inadequate. Any experience in deep, deep backcountry in Alaska?

I am an outfitter and use Nemo tents and love them. The clients love them and so far absolutely no problems with the tent.

This tent offers impressive spaciousness, and its durable material provides a sturdier construction compared to traditional backpacking tents. While the zipper requires some adjustment, the door design enhances accessibility. Setting up the tent initially posed a challenge, as I am accustomed to the Jake's foot system. Upon reviewing the instructions, I found myself wishing it followed that more intuitive setup method.

I bought it for car camping, so much place and so much easy to mount and pack. Recommended We can be 3 without problems.

Loving this tent so far. Great amount of space for my dog and I, plenty of pockets and well constructed. Only taken it out in good conditions but so far so good!

I love how roomy this tent is, and the material is more heavy duty than a backpacking tent. The zipper is a bit of getting used to but the door opening is very nice. Tent setup was a head scratcher as I am used to the Jake's foot style. Rereading the instructions, I wish this was a Jake's foot style setup, which is much more intuitive.

I bought this tent about 7 months ago and haves loved it! I've used it on many multiple day backpacking trips along with a 12 day trek in New Mexico and I have had absolutely no problems with the tent. Would recommend if your looking for a good durable 2 person tent that can be used a lot.

I love this tent for car camping as one person, for just me. I add a patio pad and fairy lights and it is cozy. I went backpacking this weekend and shared with a friend. It's a little snug with 2 people, but still does the job.
