I really like the chairs, only reason it didn't get 5 stars was the weight (a little heavy) and the cup holders in my opinion should have been place on the out side. These chairs are really well built and sturdy and should last a long time.

Got this chair for a few summer trips. Great chair. Solid, fun, and easy to set up and tear down. Love the reclining feature and great colors.

Efficient and comfortable are the most notable characteristics. These factors override the sackable size increase over the original. Worth being creative in overland packing.

Very well designed product with attention to detail. Reclining feature operates in a class of its own. Nice to have instruction tag sewn on. Bag is east to load and carry.

Great chair, only docking a star because it is much more bulky and heavy than I had realized. That said, very comfortable and sturdy, just wish it was a little more portable.

I have had multiple of these chairs over many years, at least two different versions, and especially remember the first ones that would pinch your underarm and make you wonder if it would have been more comfortable to be stung by a wasp! I can confidently say, not anymore. This new version, while admittedly heavier and bigger seems to know what its purpose is, which is NOT a backpacking chair, but a super easy to set up chair that is hauled around in the back of my truck. I coach off road motorcycling and after a long day in the field this new version sets up so very quickly, allowing me to get off my feet and visit with clients while having a cool and refreshing beverage. I passed on my old chairs to others in need, just to get them addicted. They may be trading in for the EVO-X sooner than later.

If you are looking for a supremely comfortable, super well constructed camp chair, and don't care about weight or size, look no further. Not the easiest thing to tote around but man is it super comfortable. No better feeling than rocking by the campfire.

Got this a few weeks ago and I'm stoked, easy to set up, real cozy and the cup holder pockets work better than expected. Heads up I didn't read the specs and it's real big in the bag. Probably 8 inches taller than a normal captains chair, bit wider too.

My new favorite camping chair. Just returned from my trip to Moab and I can't say enough good things about the chair. Not only is it super easy to pack up and unfold, but it's perfect for stargazing and I really appreciate the pockets to store my beverages!!!

I love how comfortable this chair is! It's like a hammock/chair and it feels so relaxing. I would have it setup permanently in my living room if that wasn't weird

I bought this a in the fall of 2025 after using the original Stargazer chair for years! Right away I noticed how much more user friendly the set up, tear down and packability of the Evo-X is compared to the original Stargazer. While the Evo-X does not pack up as small, the feasibility is much more valuable than the extra space it takes up when packed away. The bag itself is amazing, multiple grab points, padded bottom and padded shoulder sling make carrying the pack an absolute breeze! Whether I am walking from the parking lot to the soccer field or a camp site the chair is super easy to move. I kept my old stargazer and rolled it to my girlfriend, however she kept trying to steal my chair so we ended up adding one more Evo-X to the collection so she would stop trying to steal mine! I want to be clear I don't dislike the original Stargazer however when comparing it to the new Evo-X it's not even close... the Evo-X wins on every front!

I am an avid camper who has multiple chairs ranging from ultralight backpacking fold ups to $15 cheap chairs from big box stores. I finally thought it was time to upgrade. This chair is large, cushy, and great if you want a comfortable place to rest after long days. My only complaint is truly how large and heavy it is. It takes up a lot of space when we're packing up the car to travel. I guess that's what you sacrifice for the comfort!

I bought this chair to take to summer camp. I've tried it out to make sure that I was going to like the chair. It's very comfortable, you can swing, and the recline feature is nice! Way better than a regular camp chair! The only thing it don't have is a cop holder.

I've owned the original Stargaze for years, and it's easily been one of my favorite camping chairs, so I had high expectations going into the new Stargaze EVO?X-and it did not disappoint. The EVO?X keeps everything I loved about the original: the smooth reclining motion, the balanced feel when you lean back, and that "weightless" comfort that makes you never want to get up. It still feels effortless and relaxing, whether you're stargazing, reading, or just spacing out after a long day. Where the EVO?X really shines is in the refinements. The frame feels stiffer and more confidence?inspiring; it seems easier to stand up from as a larger guy (this was tricky in the original), and the overall chair just feels more dialed in. The adjustments are smoother, setup speed is a vast improvement, the seat support feels better, and the small design tweaks add up to a noticeably more refined experience without losing the personality of the original Stargaze. As someone who genuinely loves the original Stargaze, I can say the EVO?X feels like a true evolution rather than a reinvention. It improves on an already excellent design while staying true to what made the original such a standout. If you're a Stargaze fan, the EVO?X is absolutely worth the upgrade-and if you're new to the line, this one sets the bar high.

Just bought a second stargazer eco-x. It is so easy to set up or collapse again, it is super comfy, and the recline feature is so intuitive. Love these chairs. I've used similar chairs before and none of them were as comfortable, easy to recline or easy to set up.

Bought these for the yard and camping in our Boler. So easy to set up and take down. It feels a little weird to just sit up in unless you make sure your weight is all the way at the back of the chair. Feels very sturdy when reclined. I am a mover so I love that you can rock yourself in it. Pair it with a footrest and it's unreal!
