Bought this recently and very happy with the purchase. I had the Big Agnes Rapid SE, but this was more comfortable!

I almost never review things, but I bought this a few weeks ago for week-long road trip camping adventure and it was the most comfortable sleep pad I've ever camped with. I inherited an old Nemo Cosmo from somewhere and it's been our most comfortable and reliable sleeping pad and we've kept it for my wife and I telling the kids that we got that lush one because of our old people bones. When we needed another for our recent trip after one we'd bought off of amazon for $30 sprung a slow leak, I decided it was time to spend the money on a better pad than the trusty, but thin Thermarest scout pads we've had since college and Amazon specials we've been picking up here and there in our "we can't have nice things" phase of parenting 3 little kids. Despite never having bought a Nemo pad myself, I'd decided to go with this brand because of how much we still like the older model, hand-me-down pad from this company and thank the camping goddesses that I did! It was so comfortable that I got the best sleeping I ever have while camping. It's an improvement over the Cosmo because of the insulation and the material is less noisy and softer, but maintains the sturdy reliability. After a few nights I realized I prefer it with a little air let out so it's a bit less firm, but it still offers a ton of support. We camped on both grassy areas and forested areas with roots and rocks and this pad offered the same level of comfort on both. It's easy to inflate and pack up. The stuff sack is generously sized so that you don't have to fight to get it in there. My kids are still kids, just a bit older, so I did end up with a few little spots of who-knows-what kind of camping stains on it by the end of the week, but a quick wipe with a wet towel when we got home and it was as good as new. I love camping and have spent many years doing it, but I have definitely found the last few years as I inch towards 40 that I am struggling more and more to get comfortable sleep while we're out which has led to less frequent and/or shorter trips. I think this pad is a game changer. I will probably even shift to using this one for backpacking despite the heavier than ideal pack weight. It's worth it for such good rest!

This pad is fantastic! The vortex bag makes inflation a breeze, and letting the air out is even easier. Packing it back to its factory roll size is super simple. It's comfy, warm, and overall, I couldn't be happier!

This pad is great! Inflation is easy with the vortex bag and releasing the air from the pad is even easier- very simple to achieve the factory roll size when packing. Comfortable and warm- very happy!

I am a big fan. Comfortable for side sleeping and on the back. Keeps the cold from creeping up under you. I have this paired with the men's disco 15 Fahrenheit long bag and it the dream set up. Just need a nemo tent for the full set up. In the midst of going full nemo.

This is a great sleeping pad for family camping! Kids aren't as gentile with gear, and this pad sacrifices a small amount of weight and packing size to provide a lot more durability and comfort. I definitely think the trade off is worth it!

I purchased this pad to use more as a car camping sleeping pad. I have the Tensor for backpacking as it's lighter and packs smaller. The quiz are is an incredibly comfortable pad. I have used it on multiple camping trips, and various different types of weather while I have not taken it into extreme cold, it has been on nights in the high 30s. This has kept me warm with no issue. Recently, I had to utilize the pad as an extra bed when we had several out-of-town guests. My one complaint with the pad is the valve cover is tight and feels like it's going to rip when I deflate it. However, after dozens of uses, it's fine so I assume the quality of the pad lives up to Nemo standards.

I bought this sleeping pad to help with my comfort levels when sleeping on a cot during disaster deployments. It packs up small and inflates easily with plenty of cushion for side sleepers like myself. It is also very warm. I have not used it directly on the ground, but sleeping on this in conjunction with my Riff sleeping bag kept me TOASTY warm all night. I will note this pad is much quieter than competitors like Therm-A-Rest, but there is still a tiny bit of swishing/crinkle noise. If you wear ear plugs it's completely unnoticeable.

I've used this sleeping pad for 3 seasons and it's still good as new! I'm a side sleeper and I love that I don't wake up with sore hips in the morning. It also rolls up smaller that other brands we have. Also, the bag that you use to inflate it works way better than the other brands as well.

Been using the old Tensor Insulated for several years and picked this up for a little more luxury on trail. Super quiet, very comfy and overall still stoked on Nemo's gear. As a side sleeper, it definitely provides a bit more support over the old Tensor. Slept well with no issues! Included Vortex pump sack is still the most efficient inflation I've used to date. 4-5 pumps and you're ready to rest.

As a 5'10" side sleeper most pad were not providing a good night of rest. Then along came the Nemo Quasar regular wide sleeping pad. With this pad I can sleep on my side and even roll over and remain fully on the pad. This pad has been a game changer for getting great sleep on trail.

This sleeping pad has been on many outdoor trips with me. I even use this pad when I go out on military training. The comfort I get for just the small amount of space and weight it take up makes it a no brainer. I have no issues falling asleep on the quasar pad. I love how the curves nestles you to the center of the pad and definitely appreciate the long wide size. Like I said, I have taken this thing on multiple military excursions and have had no leaks or issues but if it comes to it I would definitely get another one without hesitation.

Took this on a 5 day self support kayak trip. Excellent balance of weight to comfort. Both of us are side sleepers and this pad did great. packs small enough for our whitewater boats and is not too heavy. Thanks NEMO

Took about 2 breaths per sack, and about 4-5 sacks to fill up the pad. Haven't taken it out yet to test it's R-Value, but it is pretty comfortable and I have no doubts that its R-value is true and will work. I am 5'8" and 160 pounds and can turn on my side without my hip touching the ground. I also could not even imagine trying to make the regular (20" wide) pad work, I would honestly prefer something closer to 30", but the 25" works without sacrificing. Also, I think that if you are 5'10" and above you might want to opt for the long pad. So far I don't regret it, especially since they recognize active duty and retired military with a discount! Hope his helps.

I know it doesn't pack up the smallest. It certainly isn't the lightest. BUT this may be the most comfortable sleeping pad I own.

I have used this sleeping pad a few times. I got it for primarily travel, especially for times where I might get trapped in a airport from a cancelled flight or for sleeping arrangements at my destination. It fits in my carry on bag just fine. Liked it so much I recommended to a friend who got one for his cross country road trip.

Truly aids in comfort to give you a good nights rest. Takes a little while to fill with the included pump sack but will keep moisture out of the mattress for those cold nights. Has been utilized from -30 to 90 degrees F without issue on over 25 trips. Highly recommended, the larger size fits well in a smaller tent with room to spare for gear.

I have used this on a single car camping trip so far. Overall this sleeping pad is super comfortable for the packable size and weight. I am a side sleeper, and the thickness and sculpted shape really helped me sleep through the night. The included pump sack works great and makes inflating a breeze. I did find the valves a bit hard to open and close, but hopefully they will loosen up over time.

I couldn't ask for a better air mat. Warm thick and comfortable all at a reasonable weight. as a side sleeper I struggle to find a mat that works well for me and this is the one!

My Husband had the Tensor and found that pad to be light, but a bit thin on cold sierra nights. He started using the Quasar, a little thicker (more durable) a little heavier, but he found the extra weight was an easy trade off for a bit more warmth and comfort. Just right is you aren't a gram obsessed gear snob.

This is my holy grail backpacking mattress. I tried everything, but due to my weird sleeping habits and side-sleeping position nothing seemed to work, until this. I am sleeping through the night and I am plenty warm in shoulder seasons. Highly recommend this pad, the extra weight is worth the comfort.

I'm about to embark on a month-long bikepacking trip and was looking for a thicker, lightweight pad to take with me. After seeing that this pad was among the top sleeping pads of 2024, I decided to go for it. As a side and stomach sleeper - I'm so glad I did. I've tried it out a couple times now and the pad is so comfortable. My friend even decided to order the exact same one after borrowing mine for a night.

Finally, a double size comfortable air mattress we don't have to re-buy every year. AND this is small enough to make shorter backcountry trips.

I enjoy this sleeping pad for comfort because of the width and bevel shape it provides! On the heavier side for backpacking but still pretty compact if you want to take it in the backcountry. It is my go to car camping mat overall! If you are looking for a thicker width sleeping pad this is a great buy!

My go to sleeping pad (regular-wide-insulated) for all but the most ridiculous of hikes. Sure it's a little "heavy" but it's worth every ounce for a guaranteed good nights rest. Guaranteed!

I love this air mattress. Easy to use, easy to blow up, and comfortable for an air mattress. If I had to complain about something, it would be don't set up on a hill. With mattress and my super slippery sleeping bag, I move at night. Perfect when it's flat, so better planning will help. Enjoy!!

Great customer service OMG its great! Quasar pad!
By Colby b.
I got one one of the new ground pads, When I got it there was a tiny little ittsy bittsy tiny little hole. I have no idea how it got there. A quick email to customer service, I was able to patch it and made it on my trip. When I made it home, on my door step Monday morning was a brand new ground pad!! Didn't even know it was on the way until I got service back Sunday on the way home! Great company! Great gear! Great everything all the way around. Customer for life.
Great pad!

Have only used the pad 6-7 times so far but there are several pros. Super easy to inflate, holds air overnight even in chilly temps, and packs away very nicely.
