Nemo Disco 15 Sleeping Bag, Long

My partner and I bought the Disco 15 bags so that we could zip them together, while also carrying them separately. Such a cool feature! It is a very comfortable bag, and great if you like room to toss and turn in your sleep! At the discount price, definitely worth it! There is a major issue I have with this bag though. At a 650 fill, I didn't expect the most loft. What I also didn't expect was the zero loft/down in the chest area. I've attached pictures to show the change in loft from the foot box to the chest. Idk if Nemo did this bc your torso tends to be the warmest part of your body, or the down has shifted from being shelved vertically in store. If the latter is the case, I really wish there were cross seams on the bag to help hold the down in place. Since it's a 650 fill, I feel like it's super important that the down is consistent throughout the bag. Though I mostly stay warm in the summer nights, I definitely feel cold spots in the fringe season when I'm sleeping solo. That's probably the only issue I have with the bag, but it's a BIG one for the investment of a quality bag.

I used this bag for the first time this past weekend and it did great. I have been using the Disco 30 for some time now and loved it but, needed a new cold season bag. As I suspected, the 15 degree bag was great too. Both nights that I used the 15 degree bag (both in the low 30s) I was super warm. I had to open zippers to help regulate my body temperature. I tend to feel claustrophobic in most sleeping bags and have not had it happen in the Disco bags. I love this bag.

So, as a former "equipment rep" and user, I will say this: This is a great bag in both design and function. Love the quality of materlais and construction. Don't overlook this product if your planning a long through hike or shorter in/outs/loops!

Got this a few months back and loving it. Lighter and packs smaller than my mummy synthetic bag, which has been too small and Uncomfortable for side sleeping. The disco has been a game changer for camp sleeping

As a product designer in the outdoor industry, I appreciate the fine details and well thought out product like this one. It keep finding new things that make me think' "why didn't I think of that." Super comfortable and warm. Vents make it a very versatile bag. The shape is a game changer for a side sleeper like me. Won't disappoint.

Absolutely amazing. First night with the bag was a 26 degree F Smoky Mountain night. Couldn't have been any warmer. Slight chill on inside fabric where body parts are not touching, but only when below 30 F, and not at all uncomfortable. Several other 30 - 40 degree F nights, and it performed just as well. Looking forward to the vents in summer. Great investment for any serious camper.

For someone with broad shoulders who doesn't enjoy the trapped feeling traditional mummy style sleeping bags provide this is the perfect option! It also packs down to a very small packable size for a bag this large. Definitely worth the buy, has been a game changer for me.

I had a hard time choosing a bag because I am a six foot woman who is a side sleeper. I did my research and decided the spoon bag was best for me. But I was unsure if I should go with the disco or the riff. I called VPO and talked with them. Because I freeze easily they suggested a few options and I went with this one. I am a little sad I couldn't get the pretty colours of the women's version - plus the additional down (women's bags have more down apparently). But they told me I could get a liner and use that to increase the warmth rating. I ordered it and received my bag in Ontario just a few days later. Fast shipping and excellent customer service! I opened my bag and crawled inside and discovered that I had TONS of room to roll around and even put pillows between my knees while on my side. The bag is so soft and comfy and warm that I don't care about the colour anymore. It has so many great features. I have yet to take the bag into the backcountry but it will be put to the test in a few weeks!!! I totally love this bag and I will order from VPO again in a heartbeat!

I bought the Disco 15 Long a few months ago. I need a cooler weather bag but Backpacking weight so I can take it anywhere. Where we'll be backpacking mostly, though, you don't need a 15 degree bag. The versatility of this bag is fantastic though! To stretch the seasonality of this bag from early fall to late Spring you can open up the Thermogills to bleed off excess heat without letting drafts in. Also, as a side-sleeper, the Spoon shape is a must. Great Bag!

I'm a side sleeper and for some reason not a huge fan of my feet being cramped when I sleep, I'm weird what can I say. This bag is warm, super functional, and most importatntly keeps me comfortable even when zipped all the way up. Some reviews said it was a tad heavy, but I find the few extra ounces more than worth it when I'm rewarded with better sleep. Look forward to adding more NEMO Equipment to my gear collection.

I have had this now for over 9 months. It is the most comfortable bag I have had. At 6'2" and 200lbs, being a side and stomach sleeper, I have plenty of room to rome.
