Spent a week in the Pacific Northwest and bought this to be used in snow. It's basically a rain jacket for legs, so definitely expect to layer up. Mine held up really well to the wind and snow. I wore a base layer, sweatpants, then these pants, and it did the trick! I ordered my normal size (medium) and it was roomy enough for layering still. I'm 5'2, 130 lbs.

I'm 5'1", and the pants aren't too long. The material feels a bit cheap for its price; however, I'd say it's pretty comfy.

I love these pants. I wear them all the time for walking the dog over a pair of fleeced lined leggings. They do a great job of blocking the wind. I'm 5'7", 115 lbs and got the XS in longs. The average length was too short for my liking.

Light, comfy and waterproof. Keeps the wind chills away. Used it activities in the rain and snow. Sized up a size in order to be able to layer up underneath.

I was worried these would be too bulky but the fit is great! I put them over a pair of warm pants as I'm planning to take these to Iceland and needed a waterproofing layer. Excited to try them out!

I bought these in an XS as I have a pair of older north face rain paints in a small and they are quite baggy. I am 5'9, 130 lbs, 27 waist. Lulu sz 4-6, agole/jeans usually 25. Reviews on here were mixed in terms of these being too big or too small. They are definitely small. I couldn't even get these up my leg. I am tempted to get a large but imagine they will be too big (rest are sold out). They seem really good otherwise - pockets, vents, so giving them a 4 for that. Mind you, I am getting these as a replacement for my old north face where the inner lining is peeling off. (But they had a good life). I guess I will have to wait until they stock back up!

I used this pants while visiting Iceland. It was a lifesaver during each waterfall and glacier lagoon visit. They kept me dry at all times. The best part was that was able to easily donn and doff at anytime.

The legs are just a bit long for the size. But better than the usual to short legs from other brands. Otherwise it is great with pockets, lightweight material, good loose fit. It is easy to pack with you to protect from the weather if needed.

I used this pants for fishing in Oregon. They kept me warm & dry. I thought the price was good. I also bought the rain coat!! I love The North Face!

do exactly what they are advertised to do! kept me warm and dry even during full days of field work and hiking in alaskan rain! i usually wear a small/medium and got these in a medium to comfortably fit over carharts and that was perfect.

I am 5'4" 115 pounds. I ordered the small short. Length was OK, but the elastic waistband squeezed my stomach. I went to the NF store to return them and the medium was a much better fit around my waist, but a bit baggy on my legs. I'm willing to suck it up because I like the pants otherwise & feel they'll keep me dry in Denali. The store does not carry short sizes, so I ordered the replacement online.
