Good quality. Strong and sturdy bag. It holds everything I need for school and enough space to fit my computer in as well. The back is comfortable and the straps are adjustable to fit my preferance.

I'm using this backpack for college and it has been absolutely wonderful. It's durability is amazing. A month in and nothing even seems a bit worn down. Much bigger than you expect on the inside. I tend to carry in the main pocket three notebooks, two folders, and a book, along with my laptop in the laptop pouch. I have a 15" HP Omen and it fits perfectly. The secondary pocket also fits more than you would expect. I have phone and laptop chargers, pencil cases, food, and so much more that fit in there constantly. This backpack does have a stiffer back, but it makes me feel secure in that my laptop is safe, and it really doesn't bother my back. Side pockets are great and fit my water bottle as well as an umbrella. I would recommend this to anyone and couldn't imagine trying to work with any other backpack.

I love this backpack. My favorite northface style. I do think it could have been better with a little less padding as it does hinder the amount of space available for usage. Other than that it's an amazing backpack and I definetely recommend. You'll get your money's worth especially since they last many years.

I'm a senior in high school and needed a new book bag that was going to last me throughout the school year and into college. Many friends recommended a NF book bag, so I started searching online for one and stumbled across Sunny Sports. They have a better color selection than the actual NF website and the price is more reasonable. I love the Recon model; it doesn't have the bungee straps in the front, has a lot of compartments, and it fits a laptop and iPad nicely. The only compliant I have is about the padding--it is supposed to be supportive and easy on your shoulders and back, but it is very stiff. Hopefully this will go away with time.

I got this backpack for school. Since I carry a lot of textbooks and notebooks I needed a backpack that could provide a lot of space and comfort at the same time. It was a great price and saved me a lot of money. I love it although the only thing that bothered me were the shoulder straps, now that I've had it for a while I see improvement. Overall the best north face backpack for school use. I can fit 2 binders a couple notebooks and some folders and a bunch of things in the organization pocket!

This north face back pack has it all! A place for your laptop and iPad as well as several pockets for everything else. The waist strap is removable and the colors are beautiful. I also love the outside pocket. Should have bought the recon a long time ago over the borealis and jester!

Overall this is a fantastic pack in both the men's and woman's variant. I purchased this for my daughter and she absolutely loves the color and styling. She will be using it primarily for school. The pack is well constructed and comfortable to wear. Sunny Sports' price was excellent and they shipped it quick. Highly recommended.
