I actually carry 2 laptops in this my work and personal laptop work laptop is a 13in HP, personal is a 13in MacBook Pro. Mac fits neatly in the Tablet slot. not a ton of space for too much extra stuff which is what I was looking for to slim down my carry load. Perfect for a small pack, very pleased with the pack.

It's my first north face backpack. I'm gonna use it for college and as a day backpack. I'm really enjoying it, well made, very robust and nice space distribution. it's not small at all for my need. Maybe a small pocket on the side would be a plus. Very confortable as well! Recommend it!

Great backpack – better than I anticipated. •• Has a somewhat formed plate for the back so it holds it shape very well. •• Keeps the load close to the body – with same stuff in my backpack, easily FEELS 2X AS LIGHT as my old pack. •• Materials and zippers are very solid. A worthy investment.

I haven't had an opportunity to use this bag very much, but from the little I have used it I love it. As with my other North Face packs it's very well built and has a lot of locations to store you laptop / tablet, pens, USB drives, etc. My old NF "Hot Shot" pack was a little larger than I needed and I was looking for a pack that was low profile and cut out any extra unneeded "slop". If you're looking for a bag that will hold just your necessary office needs and are not interested in extra space for a jacket or water bottle than this bag is perfect. If you need some extra space for your jacket and whatnot, then I would suggest checking out another bag.

I use this when I bike to work. My messenger bag kept swinging around getting in my way. Great to have a stable and secure carry option. Looks well made. Not a lot of bells and whistles on the exterior. Fleece lined pockets are great for electronics. Ample organization pockets for your odds and ends. Chest strap is a nice addition. I would definitely consider this a work back pack and not anything I would take into the woods or on the trail.
