Love the fit and the cinched waist in the back. makes it feel more fitted without being too tight. The hood is a little big and falls a bit low on my face when it's up but minor detail.

I LOVED my original Metropolis. Wore it for 15 years. Finally ordered a replacement. So disappointed - no placard with snap closure; the added elastic at waist makes an already puffy coat look like a balloon tied in middle

It is a very warm, comfy coat. It is a little small. I'm 5'1" and 118 lbs and this was a bit snug so I couldn't wear a thick sweater underneath. But, maybe I won't need one? In addition, why doesn't this have the NorthFace logo on the front or back? Makes me wonder about its authenticity. Made in Vietnam?

I love this coat I have a similar one that I own that is a size small but this coat is sized differently and I had to buy a Large bc Medium was to small I am 5'3" 150lbs love the coat super soft and comfy worth every penny

Warm and comfortable. Nice and sleek feel but very warm and cozy on the inside. Great length to keep air from going under the coat. Would definitely recommend this coat to others.

Coat is light but very warm and comfortable. Sometimes I wear it unzipped and I'm still very warm. The wind proof on it is excellent.

This coat is sooo warm yet light. I love the way the collar and pockets are lined providing extra comfort and warmth. Also especially like the elastic around the wrists

I was looking for a longer coat for the cold Minnesota winter. I had purchased a few long coats and returned them because it didn't look right on my 5'2 height. I wanted something a little more fitted but longer for warmth. This is perfect! I love that it has a cinched waist and gives the length without looking like I'm wrapped in a sleeping bag. I was most pleasantly surprised at how soft, fluffy and light weight it is and yet it's the warmest winter coat I have ever owned. For reference, I am 5'2 115 lbs and fit into the size small the best.

It was time to upgrade my old North face and this coat did not disappoint! I did size up one so I could wear cardigans and sweatshirts under with room and I'm glad I did. I'm also tall and the arm length is good as well. This coat is roomy, warm and seems to be made well. The zipper never sticks, which I love. I only wish this one had the zipper and the button closure, otherwise amazing purchase.
