I bought this for paddle boarding the river. So far I love it and I bought the L/XL it's perfect if you don't want a super tight fitting hat. Also helps with head heat.

I bought this hat to use on my lengthy dog walks, kayak trips and for yard work. It is lightweight and offers good face covering. The strap keeps it in place on windy days. I bought the large size so it would fit over my hair when it is pulled up but it fits pretty good either way. Comfortable and lightweight but providing the sun protection I need. It has been a great addition to my summer gear!

I purchased this hat to protect myself during outdoor activities such as hiking, obstacle course races, vacation in tropical places. This hat is simply amazing and I love it to death. Wore this hat on a recent trip to Hawaii. It was perfect for the beach and on hikes. We did a day outing which included kayaking and hiking to a waterfall. it proved to be protective from the sun yet comfortable. It also stays on during high winds, even with the strap cinched behind the head instead of that annoying spot under the chin. I would highly recommend this hat for the adventurer who loves to get outside yet wants to stay protected from the sun.

I bought this L/XL hat to wear while mowing the lawn and working outside. I have a large head (7 3/4 ball cap size) and don't always have great luck finding hats that fit well. This hat is a total game changer- great fit, comfortable, and awesome protection from the sun!

Strengths: Material is high quality The brim holds it's shape well for a brimmer Vents well Fit for my head is good. Opportunities: The neck strap just doesn't feel as well thought out as the rest of the hat. The elastic is just tied to loops on the hat vs having a clip. It ends up rubbing/irritating the side of my face so I removed it. I own several brimmed hats like this and the strap on the North Face is my least favorite. It's a small detail, but worth noting.
