This shoe has a wonderful, roomy fit while locking down the heel well. In fact it locks my heel better than just about any other shoe, which is a common issue I deal with. The serrated laces hold in place well, and the gusseted tongue is plenty long.
The 300 V2 performs best on gravel and smoother trails. The tread's grip is good but not too aggressive. The midfoot and forefoot is a little sloppy and doesn't lock in the foot too securely (I have a flat, low volume foot) so for me the shoe st...
