I use it for fly fishingGREGORY V : Pack is great for activity where true "waterproof" is needed. Has gasket zipper which works. Have to "burp" air if you're going to submerge it. Is a small pack, however, so not sure how much it could be loaded up. Does have hydration bladder pocket. Could be used for triathlon training in that you could swim with it if desired. I have been very pleased with this pack for kayaking, rafting, creek hiking, swimming etc....but is a small/day pack.
