I had to buy the men's version because Mustang needs to start making more women's gear for larger women. Because of this the jacket is narrow in the hips. However, I like the weight and fact that it is waterproof.

I love this jacket! Fit is a bit large for layering so I went down a size from what I normally wear. The hood with the adjustment points make it great to secure in weather while still turning well with you when you look left to right. I love the extra safety features like the reflective elements and engine kill switch attachment. Lastly, these are real waterproof zippers!

I have worn this jacket for about a month and have no complaints. It is breathable, waterproof, and blocks the wind. One item of note regarding size, I purchased a medium Callan, which fits perfectly. I typically wear a large jacket in most other brands.

I recently purchased a Mens Callan Jacket for this winter weather season. Being here in Seattle, I have found multiple days recently to use and test the attributes that encouraged me to purchase the product. It hasn't disappointed. The coat is lightweight, comfortable with great mobility. The fabric is extremely breathable with the added feature of being waterproof. The outside shell fabric is great with it properties of shedding the water in beaded droplets rather than absorbing the moisture into the outer layer. I have had other products that have claimed to be waterproof and breathable in their marketing to find out that the outer layer absorbs the moisture. Even though it is waterproof the saturation of the outer shell with moisture contributes to a less breathable jacket. Wicking the moisture off of the outside shell also helps in the moderation of body heat. Other jackets tend to pass the colder dampness to the inside of the coat without being truly wet.

I have tried all types of waterproof jackets, using all sorts of material. They might be waterproof, but you either sweat too much, they leak along the arms. Basically, making you miserable. This jacket does both things very well. Keeps you dry, and lets the sweat escape. Yes, its pricey. But the material is durable. Fit is excellent. Adjustments and zippers seem top notch.

This jacket has exceeded my expectations. It keeps you completely dry, is breathable, and feels warmer then similar jackets I've had. Originally for it as an outer layer for boating. but now use it as the top layer on the mountain. Great quality.

Love the product. It is a bit difficult for sizing if you're a woman. Chest area is fine but the hips is always hard to fit right. Slightly tight but still feels fine. The material is really nice, I used it recently in hurricane and I was dry, so that's perfect for me!

We have the Taku jackets which we have put to great use traveling; we live in Florida and thought the Callen would be lighter and good to have in our rainy weather. Could not have envisioned us using them as much as we do - they are wonderful. Lightweight, comfortable and easy to grab and go. Thanks!
