Heavy duty rubber and a very tight fit. I bought 2 sets thinking the first would wear out. Maybe it will in about 10 years! These tips do add some length to the pole depending on how far you push them on. Too far and they are super hard to take off, but pushing them on not as far means adding pole length, maybe 1 inch.
Perfect fit!
Perfect fit. Just a tad snug. Probably should have used a drop of soap to install.
