Well built but as others

Well built but as others have said it could be lighter by having more punch outs or using titanium. Slightly longer hose would allow more easily using 1 lb green propane bottles .

Does it work? Make it last longer?

I'm not so sure. As my canister was almost empty and I used the adapter but couldn't get enough gas to come out to light a fire.

Very well built. No fiddling

Very well built. No fiddling with the stove as it's burning. Just my preference. My only (very minor) complaint is that I wish it fit the Trillium base. Stance is quite wide as it is, so it might be overkill, but it might come in handy.

Works just like you think

Works just like you think it would. I was always a bit nervous around the higher more unstable base of the stove without adaptor, especially if you are boiling up a liter or more. The low-down is still sorta tall but has a much more stable base for all the boiling you need to do

Excellent product...

Have used the LowDown on two occasions already and this is an excellent platform for stability. I use a 14 cup GSI percolator and that's quite a large coffee pot on a stove like the MSR Pocket Rocket Deluxe. Not one issue in connecting everything and perfect stability. Good camping!

Stability

I used this on my last trek and it worked great. If you're a gram counter, not going to be for you. But as a guide doing group treks, this will work perfect for the larger pots, keeping them low.

Great but could be greater

This is a fantastic bit of kit and i love mine but it could be better. The way it works does not need any changing just the materials its made from. I think i would have payed a bit more for a lighter all titanium version or maybe titanium legs slimmed down a bit for lightweight backpacking. Overall the product is great tho and i would recommend

Great stability. Wish it was less expensive

I'm unsure the best way to use the flow regulator. Would maybe make more sense to have an On/Off rather than a variable valve since there is already one on the stove

Versatile

Normally switch out my pocket rocket to the liquid fuel dragonfly for winter camping but having the option now to separate my canister from the flame and keep it sheltered out of the elements has now extended its functional operating range in cold temps
