My friend has a Habitude, which I borrowed a few times and enjoyed, except that it gets extremely hot if pitched during the daytime and there's no good way to ventilate it - only one door, not much mesh for airflow. The Habiscape improves on this problem by adding the second door, which is why I purchased it, but I have been disappointed with the other modifications made to this tent. The fly front door has 2 zips instead of 1, making entry and exit fiddly. The extremely high DWR on the Habitude tent floor was lowered. The Habitude fly has cinches on every guy line, making it simpler to pitch the tent - these are removed on the Habiscape for some reason, so you are stuck tying knots to guy out the fly. The pole structure was modified as well, removing the secondary pole connections to the corners of the tent - this maybe saves some weight? But the tent moves more in high winds as a result, as it's very tall and will certainly catch a breeze. Overall I would recommend the Habitude for most users - the Habiscape's one improvement doesn't justify the many poor design changes.

Love the height. Easy setup. Great all around and well thought through. Been camping with an infant and his pack and play easily fits in here.

Habiscape 4 is well made and designed tent. Withstood driving rain in 50 mph wind with no problem. The two way pockets are genius!

Arrived quickly. Weather isn't cooperating so I haven't had a chance to use it yet. Fall is coming.

This is a well made, livable shelter. Relatively easy to set up, solid in strong breezes, expecting to get many years out of this tent. Great 3-season basecamp.

We love this tent. It's fairly small when packed for a tent this large so we were able to check it when flying across the country. Easy set up, plenty of room for two people and gear, and well placed pockets. The pass through pocket certainly isn't necessary but was super convenient for keys, phones, and head lamps.

I got one of these for the car camping sessions in my life. We can stand in it. I'm 6ft. The fly works perfect. It takes 5 mins tops to set up. Poles are ridiculously easy. Big zipper doors. It even goes back into bag it comes with no problem. It's MSR so it will last

This tent is perfect for two adults and a toddler. It fits our sleeping bag and also our travel crib. One person is able to put it up, even in the rain. Our toddler sleeps in it perfectly and we can stand up in it. At night you can leave the fly open on either side for a nice cross breeze. For the price, it should come with the ground sheet. Without it the floor gets damp. Other than that it is wonderful!
