As an avid backpacker, I've owned and used various tents. In fact, I still have a Marmont Tungsten UL 2P tent that has seen years of use. I have also used other tents, including trekking pole tents. Anyway, let me give some pros/cons about this Limelight UL 2P tent. PROS: 1) It does have enough room for my two sleeping pads that are 24 inches wide. There is ample headroom, and the little gear storage side extensions mean you can fit most of your gear inside the tent. The tent fits my wife and me, who are around 5'10 to 6'0 tall. 2) It is easy to set up. I can set it up on my own in about 2 or 3 minutes under normal conditions. 3) The materials are sturdy. It is lightweight so it's not like a heavy and tough car camping tent, but the tent does not feel flimsy or overly delicate. 4) It is nice to set up without the rainfly on a nice star-filled night. The blue mesh is really easy to see through, and no bugs can get in. CONS: 1) The vestibules aren't huge. Because of the side gear cubbies in the tent, the vestibules can just barely fit my backpack and shoes. 2) The rainfly is slightly loose and floppy. At the head and foot ends of the tent, the rain fly should be tighter. It flaps in the wind. Yes, there are plenty of guyline points, but the rainfly should be tighter than it is. Overall, this is a very nice tent that weighs just over 3lbs with everything (stakes, poles, rainfly, tent body).

Super lightweight and very easy to setup/breakdown. I wish the tent poles collapsed down to be a bit shorter but maybe that's how a lot of them are these days and I just haven't had a new tent in a while? Love the color too! Excited to test this out some more on some backpacking trips!

Not a gimmick, the odd wings add space and comfort in 2-person. And encourages the sensible head-to-foot sleeping position. 2P tents usually feel tight to me. Not this one. Good quality as usual.

Great tent, it was sweating or keeping humidity but it was because I didn't open the vents overnight

My wife and I were looking for a lightweight tent for backpacking that was roomy and had two entries. Not only did the Limelight UL have that, it also had two interior side compartments for gear. Great tent!

This is my go to backpacking tent for its weight and durability. Nothing like sleeping under the starts while keeping the bugs away!

Ultralight Performance Without Sacrificing Comfort
Go farther with less weight using the Marmot Limelight Ultralight Backpacking Tent, designed for backpackers who demand space, durability, and easy setup in a compact design. Lighter than the original Limelight, this ultralight 3-season tent cuts weight without cutting the features you count on in the backcountry. The freestanding design offers simplicity, while dual doors and vestibules make sharing the space clean and comfortable.
Smart Storage and Livability on the Trail
With two large vestibules and dual entry, this lightweight hiking tent keeps muddy gear out while giving each camper personal access. Inside, you'll find interior gear stash wings, pockets for small essentials, and a lampshade pocket that turns your headlamp into a soft overhead light. The layout is ideal for campers who want to maximize livable space without adding extra ounces to their pack.
Weather Protection and Fast Setup
Built to handle wet and unpredictable conditions, this Marmot backpacking tent features a seam-taped bathtub floor and a full-coverage rainfly with venting to reduce condensation. The color-coded "easy pitch" pole system with DAC Featherlite NFL aluminum poles means you'll set up fast at camp, even after a long hike. Made with durable 100% polyester ripstop, the Marmot Limelight ultralight tent balances toughness, weight, and performance.
