This jacket is exactly what I wanted. I ordered the XL in the Kelvinator jacket, and it fits perfect! I am 6'5", and weigh 240lbs., so I have to sometimes get a XXL, but it couldn't fit better. It's light weight, but really warm.

I am very thrifty as a shopper. I also love Mountain Hardwear. This coat was a gift for my boyfriend for Christmas. It is a great coat and deal. It fits perfectly true to size. The outer fabric is super, super soft and durable. It looks great on and is fantastically warm. It even creates a little tight vacuum once zipped. The perfect coat for outdoor adventures and looks great to go to dinner in as well.

Indeed for this price, cant get a better warmer and as stylish jacket! Its very warm. Even around 30s here in SF bay area with crazy wind, still feels cozy. Only wish that it’s a bit slimmer and smaller: not much difference between a small and a medium, bought two in different sizes. Shoulder design is abit high.

My son picked this jacket out to wear under his camis since he will be training Marines at Bridgeport CA and Alaska in sub “0” weather. He went to Alaska last week for his final inspection of the training facilities. He was very pleased with the jacket in that he actually got hot in the jacket since it was just in the 30’s. If it wasn’t leases my son, it pleases me. I try to do whatever it takes to make his job a little easier.

This jacket is very warm and lightweight. Sunny's prices are the lowest I was able to find and they provided fast shipping and excellent customer support. The only reason I left off a star is the jacket does not have any interior zip or stuff pockets (the hooded version apparently does have interior pockets, so I'm not sure why MH didn't include this in the non-hooded version). Also, it would be great to have the two exterior pockets lined and a bit larger.

I purchased this jacket with knowledge of the extensive testing that Mountain Hardware puts into their products. I also liked the wide quilt design. It is very warm and lightweight. Exactly what I expected from Mountain Hardware.
