Definitely glad I ordered an 8 1/2 instead of 8. Even then, I had to loosen the top of the hiker. I tried on a friends pair, so got the same size. They are warm. Going to be perfect for hiking in the snow and slush. Feel really nice.

Kind of a cross between a hiking boot and shoe, these are lightweight with excellent traction. They pressed a bit hard on the tops of my feet after an hour during the first hike but this is alleviating with wear. Recommend "breaking in" the boots with a short hike when you first use them.

Very comfortable boot. The sole provides a lot of stability walking on uneven dirt roads and stones. I got 1.2 size bigger to add a insole for additional comfort. It runs bigger.

The shoe is nice except for where the tongue attaches to the shoe. I have to make sure it is positioned so it pads where it is connected or the top of my foot gets sore where it rubs. It is a light boot.

I have trouble finding shoes that will last and not hurt my feet. I am a mail carrier and walk at least 10 miles every day. I walk thru yards, on sidewalks and gonup porch steps all day. Atfer wearing these shoes for at least a month, they are still comfortable, keeping my feet dry and not showing any wear on the bottom yet. I have paid a lot more for shoes that are sitting in my closet because they hurt my feet.

I tried them out on a rocky climb out in the Palm Springs area. I was impressed with their good grip and comfort. The next big test will be to see if they are truly waterproof - as I have a spring hiking trip in the Scottish Highlands.

I use these as hikers. They are very light weight and they look great too. I noticed how easy it is to clean the mud from these hikers. I am sorry that they seem to be going out of stock.

Bought the women's Moab Speed Mid GORE-TEX® boots for a soggy 2 week trip to Ireland in November 2023. The boots are very light and were super comfy from day one. No breaking in required. They are absolutely waterproof. My feet were toasty-warm and dry during rain, high winds, 45 degree F temperature, and a hail storm on the Cliffs of Moher. I'd rate these boots perfect for light hiking, and city walking in rain or shine. The boots feel true to size. The navy blue color is subtle and pretty.

Awesome shoe! Comfortable, waterproof and good support. Hiked many trails in Acadia National Park, White Mountain National Forest, Olympic National Park, HOH Rainforest, Mount Rainier National Park and numerous state parks across the country. I will continue to buy this shoe for all my future adventures.

Great shoe. True to size. I love that they breathe but are also waterproof(mostly). They also give good ankle support and grip well in soggy conditions.

I LOVE these boots. I am an arborist and I wear them for work. Before this I was using Columbia boots and they caused me to get callouses on my toes because of the way they rubbed on my feet. It was awful and made my feet so tender. I am so glad I decided to switch to Merrells. These are far superior! Very well made and I work in the Pacific Northwest and my feet stay dry!

I just added extra comfy soles to protect my feel, they're very comfortable and the soles are super stable for hikes, they're waterproof, they're durable. I really like the merrell.

Just did a 5-mile break-in hike. Super comfortable and great traction support. The mid rise is perfect for ankle protection. Excited to take the boots for longer hikes.

Love my new shoes. I wish they had a bit more arch support but other than that they are great. Wore to Glacier National Park and they are sturdy hiking shoes with great ankle support and handle rugged terrain well!

I got these hiking boots for a trip to Wyoming. We hiked at Jenny lake in the Grand Tetons and explored all of Yellowstone national Park. They were very supportive and I'm so glad I got them!! Wore them on rainy days even if we weren't hiking just because they are waterproof.

I didn't even need to break them in. I just put them on and started hiking. I couldn't imagine hiking all over the Grand Canyon without them. I would highly recommend to anyone considering them.

I had bought another brand of hiking boots for a month long trip involving a lot of hiking. I wore them for a few weeks before the trip and decided they were not working and I bought these at the last minute. They were perfect- light, comfortable and truly waterproof (put tothe test). Zero regrets and I bought a second pair when I got home to hike King Ludwig's Way in the fall.

I bought my Merrells in April 2022 - they're still going strong! Very waterproof - Only once did I have some slight dampness on the top of my sock only (likely due to lack of waterproofing around the laces) after hiking in extremely deep grass in the pouring rain. Otherwise trekking through mud, puddles, creeks and streams is all good. They are a bit loose in the ankle but I like that. Extremely light. Very breathable and warm - I wore them all winter with wool socks. Fit perfectly to size (I did not size up nor down). Never had a blister or any issues of "breaking them in". Once these wear out (they're still functioning great after a year!) I'm definitely buying another pair.
