In early 2024 I bought this tent. I've used it twice for a total of two weeks. Which is about what I need it for every year. It appears to be a reasonably good tent for the money. I'm 5'11" and can stand upright in the center. It withstood a serious rocky mtn wind and rain storm. It is a bit difficult to erect with the long poles and could use a couple more tent stake loops. The real weak point is the zipper as it keeps getting caught in the zipper flap. This need to be addressed. I would buy the tent again.

Bought last year (2022) as my previous Tallboy was starting to show signs of wear after 15 years. Also wanted to downsize to a smaller tent. I thought the 4 person would work for 2 of us but with our double tall twin air mattresses it left little room for our stuff. My daughter is going to get her own so we'll both be comfortable. :) Set up is so easy. I love the fact you can stand up completely inside - so much easier for dressing. I do wish the windows had zip window closures so you didn't have to have the rainfly on all the time like the old one, but not a big deal. We didn't have rain last year but everything felt very secure with the rainfly on. Going to camp again in a few weeks - this time it's with the dog. It should be perfect!

I used this for 5 days at annual Bluegrass Fest. It held up well, but the weather was so nice it was never really tested. The zipper is a little tricky and gets stuck until you get used to it.

I am an avid outdoorsman and at this point in my adventures only purchase what I feel will last for an extended period of time. First, the delivery was quick. I ordered the tent, two days later I had it. Next, I unpacked it and had is setup in less then 1 minute flat. I know tents are second nature but I didn't even have to try, it was quick to setup and ready. the quality of the material appears durable and outdoors worthy. My only drawback and this is not negative but the tent is not lightweight. I won't be packing this on a 4 day hike. However when I am staying at a campsite and not out hiking and just hanging out, i can grab it out of my jeep and set it up.

Kelty has been a good affordable brand for me! I purchased this back in 2020 and have used for 5 or 6 weekend camping trips. I recommend it as a good medium. Sturdy poles, and tent material, make this a great 3 season tent. I did use in the winter time in a pinch and it did okay. Old packing blankets lining the floor was a great addition. Odly enough though, the footprint purchased for this tent does not match up. I have tried all the configurations I could think of, what is confusing the most is the corners are "color coded". Not a huge issue, just slightly frustrating.

I took it out for its first use st a family campground and it performed fine throughout the evening. In the morning however when I took it down one of the corner grommets in which the pole ends nest broke out of the webbing. I had to go to Lowe?s and get a grommet kit and reinstall one. It?s all good now and you can barely tell the difference. It?s a fine tent other than that (so far!), but that shouldn?t be necessary with only one use, so 3 stars.

I got this tent at a pretty good price. I like the height and it's roomy enough for me. The pole are very sturdy and it was simple to set up. Two things could be better. There's no back window opening and the door only has the little peek-a-boo window. The other issue was the floor of the tent was not reinforced. I have a dog and I had to put blankets on the floor so his nails wouldn't rip through.

Be careful what how you treat this tent. Bought it because we wanted to be able to stand upright inside and this tent is perfect for that. Tent fabric however is ?so so? - in that we took it camping twice and already came back with two holes. I generally keep all my equipment clean and treat them with care, my other tents have holes only after years of use. Handle with care and more care if needed.

I love the height of the tent and it?s very easy to setup. Disappointed that I can?t buy the footprint anywhere (sold out). Also the zipper gets stuck occasionally so I need to be careful opening and closing the tent - a little bit of a pain. The main reason for the 3 is that the rain fly doesn?t come out far enough and water falls from the rain fly directly on the lower part of the tent. I was dry in a light storm but worried if I was in a long downpour.

Good but should be great for 2 people not 4. Light weight easy to carry on a motorcycle. Would of given a 5 but some of the stakes bended. But are lot better then the ones everyone else but in.

The height is really great, love small size of it, best for two people, fits two twin air mattresses with small space between, wish there was a little more window screen on the door or a window on the side that could be open & closed for ventilation, super easy to set up, enjoying it

Great peak height yet small floor area. It's a perfect alternative to our backpacking tent for use when car camping for the two of us.

We have loved this tent. It is the perfect size. Plenty of room for 2 adults and gear. Easy to put up. Excellent customer service. When one of the tent poles broke, they immediately replaced it.

- took no more than 5 minutes to set up (with a partner) - sat in it during a horrible torrential downpour, but we were completely dry - really good airflow the whole time - fits two twin mattresses plus some space - love that I can stand up in it

I took my cool new tent camping and we got every single weather type you can think of including big hail, strong winds and rain. Tent was fine after all that. Love the tent, high and comfy. I would like it to have 2 doors better but it is still a great buy.

I love my tall boy! That?s what I drink camping is tall boys and being 6?3? I?m semi-able to stand up. Huge benefit to getting dressed in the morning took this camping in October in the rain held up just fine. I have a video of me dryer than a whistle, my buddy and his dog had to come into the tall boy and we had plenty of room till the rain passed!

I love being able to stand up. Space is great. However, it is a little difficult to set up alone. I just need more practice but some tips may help.

I have used the tent 3 times now and feel comfortable taking it on trips regardless of weather. Lastest trip was fourth of July weekend and we did get heavy rain for about an hour. The tent held up well - rainfly sheded water like it's supposed to and for the most part everything stayed dry. A few issues to note. 1)The tent is tall (hence the name) so in high winds it can get blown down. 2) the rainfly does not extend far beyond the tent and creates splashback from dripping water that can run under the tent and possible pooling

Tent held up so well in rain, and another weekend we used it it got down to mid-30s and it kept us warmer than I expected! Great tent. Fits a queen size air mattress, and some personal items, or 3 people comfortably.
