This kid carrier is awsome. With out it, my family and I could not have enjoyed our trip to Utah. I carried my 30 pound son over 21 miles on our trip. This might not sound like alot, but to this over weight and out of shape disabled veteran it's alot. My kid loved being in it, he was safe and comfortable the whole time. Everyone else enjoyed seeing his little bobble head behind me as they passed. My wife said everyone would turn around and laugh after I passed by them. It has plenty of storage space for short trips, like some water, snacks, warm hats and gloves with minimal camera gear. I give it 5 stars, but it is not for SOLO hiking with your kid, as it is not easy to stow or deploy the kickstand by your self and top heavy while taking it on and off. It's not a bad thing, just dont expect to just put your kid in and put then on your shoulder with out being very very careful. A partner or table make it so much easier. But those issues could just be me getting old.

We have 15 month old twins, so we bought two. The girls are roughly 25 lbs each and were a breeze to carry for my wife and I. Plenty of storage for water, diapers, or a change of clothes. Already recommended to numerous friends.

This is awesome, very sturdy and secure. My little one could see all the scenery and enjoyed it. It?s easy to figure out and use. The integrated sun shade works perfect.

The Journey PerfectFit Signature is awesome! We used it for the first time for our 18 month old in Zion National Park. It was comfortable for me lugging little man around all day. Our little guy loves it so much, when it?s just sitting out he tries to climb in. I?m a pack snob and I was really worried that it wasn?t going to be as comfortable as some of the premium hunting packs I?ve become accustomed to (ie Eberlestock and Mystery Ranch.) This pack is great! The sun shade was invaluable in the desert sun. There is some room for improvement on the height of the sun shade for head room.

This is a wonderful baby carrier. Our 15 month old loves it! It?s comfortable and lightweight enough for even grandpa and grandma to carry our little one. We love that the frame is slightly collapsible because we are tight on space while being completely structured/rigid when we pull the appropriate straps to secure it in place. There are thick fabric strips that extend off the seat that keeps little legs from chaffing - a thoughtful addition that is missing from Deuter and Osprey. The built-in sunshade is also great - no thin straps for baby to chew on (like Deuter) but open on the side so that baby can see left and right (unlike Osprey). The only two cons from our perspective is that (1) strapping in baby can take a few mins, even with our baby who is very patient and doesn?t squirm much: the straps are in the front and low, which causes us to struggle with pulling up the right strap immediately and which sometimes causes the straps to get tangled. I can only imagine this getting more difficult as baby gets bigger! And (2) baby can easily detach the drool pad since it?s just a button; additionally, part of the drool pad goes under the front handle, making the handle an easy target for baby to chew on. But overall, still an excellent carrier!

The Kelty is tough to beat for the money. I spent a lot of time comparing brands before ultimately deciding on the perfectfit signature. My son loves riding around in it. The only issue that I have noted is that the seat height slowly goes down during a hike and requires re-adjustment every few miles. The adjustment is extremely easy.

We are soooo happy with this pack! Very versatile and comfort fitting no matter the size or age of the child in it! As long as you stay between the weight restrictions on the pack you will have nothing but a great experience with this pack! Multiple zipped pockets gives you plenty of storage! The built-in rain/sunshade is so handy, and stores away flawlessly into the pack without losing any storage space! Very durable and easy to clean! It always fit perfectly with all of the adjustability that it has! Overall great product! ????????

Absolutely love it. I have used it for 2 years now and we have put a lot of miles on. My son is 23 pounds now and this carrier has no issues with it. I have recommended this to all new parents I meet. We have caught tons of fish all over Pennsylvania

We like the pack. It?s pretty comfy, lots of storage and our son seems to like it so far too. It?s a little bit confusing at first, however, but with some instructions and checking YouTube, got it figured out. I would prefer they numbered the straps. That way parents can just follow the numbers to clicking their child in the pack. Also, the kickstand really only works to put the child in the pack. Once they?re in there, it?s not that stable. So be careful. Kelty online didn?t offer a military discount. That sucks but oh well. Their warranty says ?lifetime? but it?s nothing like REI?s warranty program. If they had the pack, we would?ve bought from them instead. Just being honest. Overall, I?d give this 4.5/5 stars. That rounds up to 5 stars. However, there is room for improvement.

Pack is comfortable for kids, allows them to have a view (instead of the back of your head pr bacl). Stprage pockets are great for all the random kid things youd need, like wipes, diapers, snacks, drinks, and toys. Only negative I saw was the all the material and what the material is might make a child hot in the warmer months. Our family likes this product alot.

I have 2 toddlers. A 4 yr old and a 2 yr old. This carrier pack has ample storage and has great support for both my wife and I. I wish that Kelty made a child carrier that will hold more weight than 50 pounds. Great value! Great customer support also!

Family loves it. My daughter gets so excited to get in, and so devastated to get out of it. If it’s out, she makes her way over to climb on in. It’s her favorite thing in the house. Biggest perks: Lightweight. Easily adjustable to be comfortable for mom, dad, and child. Convenient sunshade. Plenty of storage.

I purchased the Journey Perfectfit Signature so my grandson could go on hikes with me. He loves it as he sits up and can see all around. He has a place for his feet to rest too. The green is a fantastic shade and it is so sturdy.
