I bought the Kelty Galactic Blanket for those in between days of hot and cold, in Minnesota we have lots of those in the waning embrace of Summer. The blanket is just right for changing temps.

This packable is my #2 favorite It is light weight WARM and very pretty. I have a wonderful feather filled packable from years ago it is not as heavy weight, but I use it year round it is my favorite since I adopted a large breed doggo with sharp claws my favorite blanket needed lots of stiches to keep it usable and my room looked like a pillow fight every time he made a new puncture. My beautiful new Kelty packable feather filled blanket is a godsend the only difference from my fav is that it has a slight plasticly feel to it . It shall be more loved as the weather gets colder since it is filled with about twice the amount of fill than my first packable. Thank You Kelty I LOVE my new Galactic Down Blanket. I searched about 5 years to find a blanket that was like my favorite

Kelty quality blanket, very soft, comfortable & warming. I gave 4star rating because it could be a bit longer, I'm 5'7", it covers me well, a few inches longer would be better.

This blanket is great! Everything you want a blanket to be. Warm / light / easy to clean. My only suggestion is that they sew the storage bag to the blanket so you never lose it. I sewed the inside corner of the bag to the corner of the blanket and it works great! Kind of like those jackets where the pocket of the jacket turns into a stuff sack. Great blanket overall I am out of this world happy! Kelty, if you use my idea, show me some love!

I'd give it six stars. I use mine in my recliner while watching videos or reading. It's down, so it is never too holt or too cold. It breaths and is just right. I've spent double on one from a famous outdoor store that was identical to this. I gave that one to my grand daughter and bought this one on sale at Kelly. Very impressed.

I have a Cosmic 40 down sleeping bag which is perfect for 90% of my camping, but for a recent trip to the Wonderland Trail, I needed a bit more warmth but didn't want to buy a whole new sleeping bag. This blanket along with my sleeping bag kept me very comfy down into the mid 20s.

In the summer it?s cool. This time of I stay warm at 27 degrees. It?s almost the perfect blanket. It us too short, by about 6 inches for me and I am 5?7?. It should be a foot longer if you were using it as you main bedding?and I do. Maybe Kelty could offer a larger size? I would certainly pay more for it.

This blanket is one warm son of a gun. Cozy, puffy, lightweight, and comforting. We bought it for the campsite but we now use it every night as a blanket topper on our bed. It's amazing.

This blanket is extremely light and warm. The material on the outside takes a little bit of time to warm up, as it is a polyester type material. However, when it warms up the blanket could easily make a 20 degree sleeping bag turn into a 0 degree bag. My wife found it and now uses it in the house while watching TV. She thought it would be funny to crank up the AC until the rest of us were shivering!

I used this blanket backpacking with a low of 50F at night. In addition to the blanket I was wearing wool base layers and had a liner for extra warmth, I was still a touch chilly. This definitely a summer blanket or a great additional blanket to your camping setup. The blanket needs more sections to hold the feathers in place which would probably make it a little warmer. With that said, I use it all the time lounging around the house and it?s super cozy and fluffy.

I love this blanket! This blanket has passed the test of evening sleigh rides and late fall outdoor movie nights in Montana. It is very lightweight but definitely keeps you extremely warm and toasty. The packable nature of the blanket is also a great feature for camping and hiking.
