This pack is so large and roomy you can find yourself getting carried away taking so much gear. Would recommend.

The video for the Asher 85 clearly showed how to adjust the torso length. The straps on the top of the shoulder straps are connected at a good height on the pack so they function perfectly, the angle isn't too steep or flat. My tent and sleeping bag fit side-by-side, leaving lots of room for the stuff-it sacks. The chest strap is easily adjustable to be low enough so that the bear spray canister on it doesn't hit me in the throat. A LOT of stuff can be kept in the top compartment. Two straps near the bottom of the pack easily secure the sleeping pad. A large zippered pocket is built strong enough to take along the big magnum.

Very comfortable pack to carry on a hot day with 40 pounds of equipment on it. I look forward to carrying this pack in the future even more.

I bought this pack to prep for a 12 day backpacking trek in Philmont. I've gone on a few weekend excursions, and this pack has been great. Holds the weight well, and form to your body. All adjustments are easy to get to when you're on the fly. I use the top pouch for my food and stove. Very spacious, and don't have to open the bag to get to it. Some more smaller pockets would be nice, but the pack certainly serves it's purpose.

I used this for my high adventure Scouting trip to Philmont for hiking in the back country. It was perfect for what I needed and held up well on the hike. I definitely recommend getting it!

Great for backpacking. Easy to adjust to your body size and type. The belt is comfortable. I only wish it had more side pockets for small things.
