My 7 and 10 year old boys love these skates! They are comfortable, stylish and roll well. It's also great they will adjust to their feet as they grow! The boys will get many years out of these! I recommend these skates!

After 1 year of use, my daughter compliments these skates each time she wears them! They are AMAZING!!! Skate designs are great, the fit is excellent, super comfortable & very high quality. Wheels roll quite well for a youth skate but not as freely as adult skates (which I love as a parent to keep speed & spills in check). The only downfall is the closure. Initially I wanted the pull string as I thought it'd be easier for my daughter, which it is. . . BUT, the expectation is for the child to roll up the extra string on a small plastic piece, then tuck it into the top of the boot. First off that's a tedious request, especially for a child. My daughter did this the first few times out. Each time half mile into our journey the string popped out of her boot & was flopping around. Eventually she stopped winding it & left it flop around. . . . this week it got caught on the other skate & she went down hard. Needs to be a better way to secure the rolled-up excess string so it stays where put. Until then, splurge for the BOA system skates! No trip hazard. My adult K2 BOA skates are FULL 5 stars!

I have skated on K2's for over 20 years. I just bought my 10 yr old daughter her first pair and she is thrilled. The comfort and power of the skate is without rival.
