I have this backpack for over a month now and I am a nursing student, 5 days in school. What's inside my backpack are 1-2 thick books, binder, huge pencil case, purse with personal stuffs, another purse for electrical items like charger, powering, laptop and charger, etc. This bag saved my back! I am pretty much organized and I am really taking good care of my belongings. This bag is still intact. Wheels, handle, zippers still pretty good. If you take care of your bag it will lasts longer.

I use this product for school. It helps is much that I don't even have to carry a heavy a backpack and l'm only in middle school. This helps with my back problems so much. It just carries my stuff for me and l'm just pulling it to my next class. I recommend buying this for school or work.

Nice bag at premium cost, two part wheels fail. Outside tread cracks and breaks off. Warranty not that useful with mail in policy. Better wheels are abundant in the market, Jansport should consider them.

Please make more colors- orange, green, purple other blue shades etc Also, great bag but it needs two water bottle mesh pouches on each side and they need to go up taller about 1.5 to hold in the bottles

My 8 year old son loves to pull his backpack to school! , it gives him something to concentrate on and enjoy, helping to soothe his anxiety about all the new changes that come with back to school. The design is ofcourse A+ too!

Negative: B/c the external water bottle holder is too small, my water bottle frequently falls out. And there needs to be an enclosed water bottle holder on the other side!

I've been traveling with a band for the last 20+ years. I discovered the Jansport Driver 8 at a local luggage shop. It works perfectly for me,as well as two other band mates that use it. I use carabiners to secure it to my big suitcase as well as the water bottle. I'm able to put tons of stuff inside. iPad, headphones, magazines, snacks, toiletries, etc. It slides easily into overhead compartments. I've used the lifetime warranty twice, I'm on my third bag. I put this bag through a lot of stress and eventually things wear out, but Jansport stands by their warranty. After paying to ship it and tax , you basically get a new one for less than half price. Worth it to me.

I have had this backpack for 7 years. I use it almost every week for work. I travel by air most of the time, and use it as my carry on. It holds my laptop, ipad, cell phones, cable bags, and various other things...this thing take a beating. I will be replacing this one with a new one this month.

This is my second one of these rolling backpacks, exact same style. First one lasted MANY MANY years and when a wheel broke JanSport replaced the whole backpack - this has me trusting Jansport that they stand behind their products. When getting my replacement the only thing different I noticed between the two is this newer version has slightly less padding for the laptop so you might want a protective sleep for your laptop when putting into the front slot inside the backpack. The clip for the key isn't as heavy duty as the last one. I also wish there was a side pocket on both sides, one for my water bottle and the other my umbrella. I'm still thrilled with how much I can carry in this this and its ease of use. I am a teacher who sometimes takes students on trips and this has been my go to wheeled back pack for 18 years. I don't think I'll ever even look at another brand.

Got this as a replacement because they couldn't fix my old one. Don't like the white lining on inside. It's smaller than my old one. Don't understand why they couldn't just put new wheels on my old one.

My son and daughter both have the backpack. They work great and we are on year two of them. However the mesh water bottle holder should be on both sides and the pocket should be an inch deeper. If it came up higher the water bottle wouldn't tip out.

I've been having a lot of back issues that get worse when I use my regular backpack that just has straps and doesn't roll. This makes it SO much easier to go from place to place while still carrying my stuff with me. I can walk to class quicker and while using less energy than with my other backpack. Also, there are straps that you can clip onto the bottom of the backpack if you want to use them sometimes, like when walking up/down the stairs. The light blue color is really pretty, and it's really high quality.

I have used this bag for 3 months and the inside is already falling apart! I thought I could use this bag for the rest of my middle school years. I am going to buy a new one that has better quality and better reviews! Also the wheels make a weird sound when I roll it!

This was purchased at the request of my tween granddaughter for her upcoming birthday, so I personally do not have much to evaluate beyond the quickness in receiving it after my online order. More than I wanted to spend but I am relying heavily on the name brand for durability.

Redesigned interior compartments are not as useable as before. Quality on the white interior and pockets is poor and not as functional as before.

I bought my backpack on wheels two school years ago. I use it daily to carry books, papers, computer, IPad, water bottle, and markers. I wheel it through the parking lot out to the back of school where my portable is. I have wheeled it through all types of weather on the asphalt daily. It is usually filled to the brim with all the things I need for teaching, and I have never had one issue with the wheels or pack. I am planning on using it for another year, and I feel confident it will work just as well as it has the previous school years.

I used this product in 2021 when we did not have lockers in school because of COVID. I had to carry my locker with me. My campus is big but my backpack allowed me to tote everything I needed through my school campus throughout the day for 2 years!! HAD to buy another because it fits my school lifestyle.

i really like the quality of the Jansport products and their warranty covers any potential shortfalls. i got the driver 8 as a replacement for my jansport travel bag. i was soooo disappointed when they stopped production and they were not able to repair my product.

I would have given the bag 5 stars if it wasn't for the white interior. Otherwise it is a great bag. this is a replacement bag by the way my original bag had a black interior. But it seems that they may have discontinued this.

My child wanted a rolling backpack because they are not always able to go to their locker/cubby enough during the day to change out what they need, so they end up carrying a lot around frequenly. The ability to wheel around the backpack is nice, but I wish the straps could be improved for when they have to carry the pack up/down stairs in the school building and on/off the bus. I wish the straps could tuck into a middle-cut back portion instead of having to take them out of the top seam. It takes too long to remove them from the pocket and clip them into place for use. And you can't leave the straps out when rolling since they drag on the ground and can get caught in the wheels. So if that could happen, then this would be the perfect pack for us.

I purchased this backpack to use when I go to the gym. My previous gym bag kept falling off my shoulder and was hard to carry when I had a lot in it. The Driver 8 backpack is light weight, holds everything I need for the gym and is easy to maneuver.

No baggage fees with this bag. The wheel axel is made of steel with a Philip's head bolt so parts can be replaced when worn, not thrown away! Hurray! Not plastic! High quality wheels.

This is a great rolling backpack. We had ordered another off brand which broke day one. I ordered this and received it the very next day with free shipping. It is exactly what we ordered ~ it is durable, roomy and absolutely perfect to carry all of the school books and materials for my daughter.

I received my updated rolling bookbag and I love it more than the initial one. The handle is much better designed and the bad is roomier. More pockets than just the big one and the front pocket. Love it.
