Spandex is the way to go!

Spandex is far superior to silicone/rubber swim caps, as easier to get on, stretches to accommodate ponytails and you can adjust mask easier especially if you have mask strap cover—a necessity so hair does not get tangled in strap. I use my swim cap on the moving boat, so my hair doesn’t fly in my eyes.

Just what we needed

Took a little while to track down a non-latex swim cap for our girls (ages 7 and 3), but once we did we jumped at it. These were perfect -- comfortable, don't tug at the hair, quick to dry, fit well (even on their smaller heads) and came in multiple colors so each of my daughters could pick their favorite. Plus, mom gets to borrow them. Very happy with these.

More comfortable than the silicone caps.

Silicone, stretchy caps were tearing at my hair and uncomfortable. This is comfortable and I won't ever go back.

Great cap

I use this cap to keep my long hair from flying around underwater like Medusa. Have used it on many dives and it's great.

good for kids

My 8 year old daughter has a hard time putting on her swim cap so I tried this spandex version and it's much easier for her to put on herself and it does not snag her hair and pull her head. She likes it and the price was very reasonable.
