Eureka Footprint for Spitfire 1

Eureka Spitfire 1 footprint review-First this foot print follows the shape of the tent closely so there is an obvious head and foot end. However there is a less "obvious" top and bottom! On myfoot print if I place the side with the tag down the shape of the tent and foot print will match and the footprint stake loops will line up with the tent and fly counter parts! To eliminate confusion, Isimply marked "UP" on the red binding tape near each stake loop! This foot print seems quite durable and is surprisingly lightweight-5 ounces on my scaleThe stake out loops are a bit "fidly" and could have been sized better so that they could be a snugger fit at each point where you may attach them. I have used footprints/ groundcloths for nearly fifty years and in the past they didnt have these loops and always seemed to stay in place and do the job intended which is to protect the tent floor.

Perfect companion for the Spitfire 1 tent. Always use a tent footprint and you might as well use the one designed for your tent. Great price SonnySports!

I have 3 boy scouts & they all have the spitfire 1 & footprint because it is lightweight & easy to set up.

The footprint is plenty large, so you need to be sure it is tucked in under the tent to avoid collecting rain. That said, the very first night I used it there was a huge rain storm (2"+), and my gear and I stayed dry in the tent.
