I used these to help smash down my clothing for a month long trip to Europe. I wanted to go carry on only and knew that I would be bringing back a few souvenirs and cheap t-shirts so needed to make all the room I could get. I was able to fit 6 women's size med t-shirts and tanktops in the small bag and 8 mens mediums t-shirts in the larger bag.
