Very comfortable boots and waterproof
Very comfortable boots and waterproof goretex makes them a great breathable option for bad weather days. Suede is very nice and can wear them for work or casual events.

Beautiful boots
First things first; I?m an active 20-something from Ontario and use these boots in the fall & winter. Two winters ago I spent months looking for new winter boot, trying to find something more stylish than the classic chunky winter boot but still practical for walking and hiking. When I found these I wasn?t sold at first but after seeing them in person I was blown away with how attractive the tan suede was. The toe box is a little long and slim for my feet but I broke them in pretty quickly and now they feel nearly perfect. Most of their use has been walking to campus in snow, in temperatures between 5*C and -30*C. I have to disclose that I don?t have extremely cold-sensitive feet but still, I have never noticed any problem withstanding the cold in these. Just put on a thin or thick pair of socks to adjust and I?m good to go. I wore these boots on a fall hike last month where they got a lot of dirt and water splashed on them and unfortunately they have deteriorated in appearance a little, but they kept my feet dry and still look good. Without a doubt I will be buying these boots again - I might opt to be a little more gentle with them next time - I just hope Danner never stops making them because I cannot see myself in any other boot. I was lucky that I spoke with someone familiar with the style, as I would've ordered my size as opposed to a half size larger. Comfortable right out of the box, these boots are fairly light & wear like a pair of trainers (the tops are a bit stiff, but not to the point of discomfort). Great traction, a very forgiving midsole, & they stay relatively cool even with the necessary mink oil preparation to make them more water resistant. A great boot, & at a sizable sale price the best value from a boot I've come across.

They run big. I liked them a lot so I ordered another color 1/2 size smaller and it?s really small.????? They are soft leather so they scuff and tear really easy. You?ll need to get hood insoles

Good Looking and comfortable
I love these boots. They're really comfortable and good looking. I was searching for something I could wear around NYC and not look like I'm scaling a mountain and these are the answer. Commenting on fit is useless since everyone is different. I also have a pair of the Danner Ridge boots, which are also great, but WAY more rugged and burly.

Really like these boots. They look great and are really comfortable overall. I find the outer edges of the collar exert more pressure on my legs, which can get a little painful after a while. Not sure if that's the specific pair I got or the way I walk, but it's a minor annoyance. I typically wear size 11 and grabbed these in 11.5, unsure if that would work. They fit great?nice and secure. I think these are just a little longer in the toe, so some folks feel like they need to size down. Doesn't bother me. Black is nice. I'll probably grab a pair in another color for variety. Would be great if these were made in the US and could be resoled.

Great style and comfort
Had been looking for these specific boots online for a few months and they'd been out of stock everywhere. Thankfully found them here and they arrived quickly. Having had multiple pairs of Danner boots in the past, these continued to live up to expectations for comfort and reliability. The only issue I experienced was with one of the laces snapping after just a couple days of wear. Glad I already had a spare pair to replace them.

Extremely happy with this purchase. Fit is true to size and quality and construction of boot are in line with Danner. Have already had these in about two inches of water/mud and not a drop has come through. Rubber soles a little bit squeaky on certain floors - will probably fade after time.
