Found these to be ideal for daily backcountry hiking with the pups in cold damp Midwest autumn and winter weather. Great traction and warmth.

So comfy, very light and great for hikes and colder weather. I live in nyc and take these to the park in winter or winter hikes. Recently we did a super wet hike and they were great!

I?d been looking for a winter boot to wear when I walk the dog. These boots are perfect! They are warm, comfortable and not bad looking either. I have a bunion that makes finding shoes difficult but I was able to wear these boots right out of the box. They?re wider in the toe box, which is a must.

Extremely comfortable out of the box. No break-in needed. If you loved the Mountain 600s, this insulated winter boot is for you. Added bonus: they are super cute. I always size up 1/2 size with Danner to allow room for a thick wool hiking sock.

The most comfortable boot I've
The most comfortable boot I've ever had. No break in time, light weight, enough cushioning and warm enough for a very cold winter here in Michigan.
I have only one negative comment The arch support in the foot bed is a little too far back for my feet. The area of my arch toward the front of my foot is not touching the foot bed. This may settle in after wearing for a longer period and does not seem to bother my feet even after long walks. I would recommend this boot. It may run a little small. I am a women's size 5 but on the small side.

The fit was okay. They definitely need insoles. Odd arch alignment. I would say if you are looking for a boot that fits perfectly without insoles, maybe try another. Quality seems great -

Warm boots! I generally wear. Size 7- in shoes and 71/2 or 8 in hiking boots. I bought these in a 71/2 and the fit is perfect. Initially I was disappointed in the appearance ( texture and color) but having worn them to hike, walk the dog, in slush and snow down to 13 degrees- they are keepers. My feet are warm and comfortable. Hopefully they come out in a rust or grey or olive in the future.

These boots are incredible! I usually wear a 6.5 in hiking boots but the 6 worked better for me, even with thick hiking socks. I have very wide feet so i am pleasantly surprised to have found winter boots that work well! I love these for wintry hikes in the mountains as well as for wearing with jeans when going into town. They are well insulated ? my feet always stay warm and cozy. They are comfortable and the leather will form to your feet after just a few wears. They do pretty well in snow and have excellent traction. First time buying danner boots and i am a big fan!

Light weight, fit is perfect
Light weight, fit is perfect in my usual size, great support for walking. Was able to put them on, straight out of the box. No break in time. A good solid, practical boot. No issues with cold or wet.

Being a Danner customer for
Being a Danner customer for years already, I expected to really like these boots. I absolutely LOVE THESE BOOTS!! So much that I am buying a second pair in a different color. They are super comfortable, very warm and cozy and keep my feet warm and dry even in the harsh Montana cold winter weather.

Best Winter Boots
So far, the best winter boots I've owned. Super comfortable and warm, with very sturdy traction when walking two dogs on icy/snowy roads. Sunny Sports was also so easy to communicate with after placing my order as I had to adjust my shipping address.

Got me a second pair??
I just ordered my second pair, i was worried my size would runout lol. My first one still looks great although had some minor scratches from loose rock scrambling/going off trail. The best hiking shoes I got Thanks Danner!
