I use this daily to stay hydrated on my walks/short hikes. Not much storage, but zero bulk. Just what I was looking for.

This is the first CamelBak product I have purchased and I am so happy. Even with a full reservoir it is light weight and compact. So far in the warmer weather, the insulation worked great at keeping the water cold. I am excited to also use this for snow sports in the winter.

I was so happy to find this pack. I get very thirsty when skiing and this pack is perfect. I also like it for short hikes where I don't need other equipment carried along in my larger pack. Hydration is important and this allows for hands free for my ski and hiking poles.

This is just the size I was looking for. It held car keys, cell phone, 2 thin energy bars, in addition to the water. I used this in 0 to 5 degree temp. My cell phone held its charge. The water inside held a nice temp. I've had other size camelbaks and never had a problem, but this is just what I was looking for. I purchased the almond color, purchased it because it was small.

My water would always freeze on the slops. It just kinda sucked because I would get thirsty snowboarding and then have no water and just be carrying a block of ice.

I've had my Zoid for quite a few years. It has served me well through all the seasons, and in Maine we have all four. I'm not sure if once every year or so qualifies me as a skier, but I do ride a motorcycle every day all year, and my Zoid is always on my back. The feed tube fits nicely under my helmet straight to my mouth, and I can sip away all I want. Doesn't get any better than that.

I only had one freezing issue when I was in the mountain in pretty awful conditions. But even then It was only on the bite valve and I was able to break up the ice. My one problem with the pack is using it on a sunny day in spring the bladder and line got quite warm.

I bought this to replace my 4 year old zoid that leaked and wore out and the sternum clip broke too. Granted, I used it skiing at least 500 days. The new bladder top is a minor improvement but the new yellow loop to hold up the bladder really isn't because they made the attachement piece on the bladder so narrow, it is no easier to use at all. The biggest problem with the zoid is grossly inadequate insulation. No improvement there at all. It only works to around 30. Therefore, i wrap the entire drinking tube in a super thick layer of foam pipe insulation and wrap gorilla tape all around that. Using hot water and ALWAYS blowing it back into the bladder, it will not freeze down to about 0. Below that, forget it.. So why did I huy a new one? I can't find any alternative that isn't much bigger than the zoid.

Bought the Zoid Camerlbak as a birthday present for my guy to replace his 5+ year old pack. He used it this past weekend on the mountain and couldn't stop raving about how nicely he could sit on the chair. 10/10 would buy for anyone who skis/snowboards.

Decided on this pack, Zoid, for downhill skiing after talking to customer service. The representative recommended the xiphoid and explain the features clearly. The first day out skiing I had to remind myself that the pack was there and I had water available as I typically wood ski without water. Excellent adjustability and like I said I I did not even realize the pack was there unless I would think of it. Very Sleek close to the back profile hydration pack!

Unfortunately I didn’t look up how to get rid of the terrible plastic taste before using the thing and took it on the ski trip. First day, I tried to use it and taste and smell of the water were so bad it was not drinkable. I didn’t try to use the pack for the rest of the trip. I think it would help to enclose an instruction saying, before first use do the following to neutralize the plastic taste. That would’ve helped a lot.

I bought this for skiing and winter fat biking. I recently wore it skiing in single digits while mostly riding the lifts instead of the gondola. It worked great and is very well made. Most importantly, it kept my water from freezing. The zippered enclosure for the insulated tube is a great design. Also, since I never wear a pack while skiing, I was concerned that it would push me forward on the lift amplifying my fear of heights, but I didn't even notice that it was on. It's very low profile. I was able to fill the bladder and store my iphone, car key, ski lock, toe warmers, and a snack. This is an awesome pack that I highly recommend.
