I choose this water bottle because of the valve and snap on cover. The value allows it to be shut off from leaking. The cap keeps the mouth piece clean from what ever dust is floating around. I purchased it for taking on my bike while riding around. I find I tend to use it all around during the day.

Ride very dusty trails and bottle tops would get very dirty. Thanks to the lid and nozzle design grabbing a drink on the fly is no longer a issue. The soft sides of bottle make it very easy to squeeze.

Bought 2 camel back bottles at the same time as 2 Insulated bottles from another company, Camelback bottles seem to keep liquid cold on a hot day.

Nice quality bottle. Insulation is ok. The valve cap is sturdy and doesn?t leak but a little extra to open. I have a slight preference for the simple pull valve, but this is marginal. I probably would not have brought it up but camelbak sent me multiple emails asking for my feedback so...

I have an older version of this bottle; this one is a significant improvement. Its shape is better, and it's easier to clean. Cold water stays cold in most conditions.

This bottle does a good job of keeping water cold. Depending on the outside temp it seems to keep ice for over an hour. I wish there was a gasket where the top of the bottle meets the cap. If the cap is not very tight it will drip when squeezed

We've had a couple of the chill bottles without the mud cap and the valve always gets kinda gross with dirt and dust from mountain biking. The Mud Cap is a nice improvement and makes cleaning a lot easier. Still takes a while to dry after washing, with so many nooks & crannies that water gets into, but overall it's worth the upgrade cost.

Awesome bottle, does exactly what it's supposed to. I like that I can lock the cap to prevent accidentally squeezing the contents out of the bottle. The dust cap works wonderfully as the trails are dusty and I don't want to be drinking dirt. The bottle does a good job insulating, because I like ice cold water. Keep it mind it's not a vacuum insulated metal bottle, but it does well. If I fill it with ice, then water it will last at least 4-6 hours in 80ish degree weather before the ice completely melts.

Bought mainly to sit in bottom of boat while rowing - so, cap cover keeps the spout clean. Also, new design makes cleaning easy. Have only used for brief period; however, so far has worked well

Fit perfectly in holder. It isn't the prettiest (the insulation looks bunched, realized all brands look like that but does the job. Rode through some nastiness and really glad there was a cap to keep it clean! Loved being able to enjoy some clean COLD water :)

I normally use one bottle on the bike, with mix in it, along with straight water in a pack. So happy that my drink mix stays cool for 75-90 minutes (if I start the ride with it filled with as much ice as possible. Cover keeps me from having to clean the nozzle with water from my pack before drinking.
