Works great, tastes good. Doesn't fully remove the plastic taste from the bladder that I attached it to but it's much better now. No leaks or detachment.

Replacements for Just the bottom part?

I've been using one of these on my Military Isue camelback for a while, and the bottom filter is definitely getting close to needing replacement. I can find the activated carbon replacement no problem, and I can still use the top half that houses said carbon filter and connects to the hose, but I can't seem to find JUST THE BOTTOM, the part that connects directly to the Camelbak Reservoir. The cheapest I've found is maybe $30 for a whole new set, but I only need to replace the bottom, the "Hollow Fiber Filter removes bacteria, parasites, and microplastics" part. Smells like a marketing scheme to me.

Good concept, subpar execution.

The idea is great, except for the fact that any sort of movement and filter dismounts itself from the neck of the bottle cap. The design needs to be revised.

Wish I would have bought earlier

We travel all over the world and recently bought Camelbaks for a trip to Greece. Didn't realize most water there isn't potable. Wish I would have had this before the trip, but will have it for next one. World travelers should consider adding it.
