Like the size, I have a previous generation Lobo pack and this one is slightly smaller which I prefer. The overall fit and finish is good but the zipper for one of the pockets won't close without some effort. It opens fine but closing it is a chore. I hope this improves over time but currently I would not recommend.

I have an older Lobo and purchased this Lobo because the old one has performed so well over the years. I love the new bladder. I do not like the hydration tube magnet location, it makes the bite valve hit my shoulder. Also the magnet is reverse polarity from my other bite valve magnets, and the strap magnet is not movable. The upper pocket, which I believe is sized to hold a cell phone is a skoche too small for my iphone. Other than that, I really like it.

Bought a new Lobo to replace my 10 plus year old Lobo. New design and workmanship are considerably less. 2 rides in and zippers are catching and don't seem as though they will last very long. Mesh shoulder straps pull together under tension and are not as comfortable as previous model. Comes with built in magnetic tube holder but it is not adjustable so the bite valve always seems to be under your left arm pit. Cross strap in the front won't stay in place and keep riding up. Which causes you to constantly be pushing it down during your ride. Seems as thought general quantity has moved backwards. My guess is that you are just trying to keep the cost down, but if you make a better quality product I would happily pay more. Would not recommend.

I bought this to replace (or update) from one I bought back in 1995, which I think was also the Lobo. I love the size of this pack, with multiple pockets. In the small pocket, I put my multi-tool and a snack, the next size, I put my phone and the rest of my snacks, and in the large section, I put a first aid kit. It all fits nicely for the long-ish days on the trail. I love having 2+ liters of water to make sure I stay hydrated.

I am a thin guy, 6' 1" 160lbs 38" chest and the chest strap is way too short. Is this camel back for a child? Or someone with a 30" chest ? a worm?

I've always used cheap department store hydration backpacks before this one. After needing to replace the cheap one repeatedly prematurely, I spent a little more for the Lobo and I'm very happy. The other reviewers that are complaining about not having room, they should have bought a bigger one. This is perfect for when lightweight is necessary. The magnetic chest strap clip and water tube holder is awesome. I've never had issues with leaks or flow. I'm never buying a cheap hydration pack again. Thank you Camelbak!
