GREAT bottle, however CRACKED after a short drop!
The redesign is great; leakage issue solved - however my lil one dropped it on the kitchen floor and the bottom cracked! Super sad since it was less than a 2 foot drop and we’ve always washed by hand. We’ve owned lots of these bottles for our kiddos and they’ve been dropped, thrown, etc., and NEVER had them crack! We love these bottles but durability is lacking.

Loved new style till bottle cracked after months
We got this for our daughter it’s the fourth one we got, they all leak sadly, but they work when they
are new for a few weeks. Sadly the new bottles aren’t durable and cracked all the way through, so this one leaks through the bottom.

Beware new valve
The bottle itself is a classicexample of what I've come to expect. The lower rating is due to the change in valve. Despite always drying the parts overnight, I'm starting to see black mold in the crease of the valve. Worst part is the extra valves you can order don't fit the new bottle style. Unless new replacement valves become available, I will need to discontinue use much, much sooner than other bottles.

Made weaning a breeze!
My autistic toddler had a hard time weaning from a baby bottle and this has been amazing for that transition. The silicone straw gives the same regulating deep sucking sensation. These were recommended by our occupational therapist and they have been incredible.

Great design poor durability
I love Camelbak products and have used them for years (one over 10 years without issue. This bottle is a great size and design for kids - large easy to use bite-valve, lighweight and easy to clean. But ours cracked within 3 months of purchase from what I would consider normal wear and tear from a kid - occasional drops from one to two feet up. Wish there was a way to reinforce the bottom to be a little more kid friendly. I know their products have the potential to be durable (no cracks in my 10 year old bottle :) ) Great water bottle just consider how active your child is before investing in it.

Less Leakage, More Cracking
The redesign took care of the leakage issues associated with kids chewing and pulling on the bite valve. However, my son dropped his bottle from his booster chair onto tile and the bottom cracked. The older version seems more durable in this regard.

Good waterbottle
I got a couple of these for my daughter. She loves them and finds them very easy to use. As a parent, I've found them to be easy to clean and they hold well to use by a young child.

Great redesign
My kids have used the older Eddy kids version so we were unsure about using the new ones but I think they’re better. Same features that I liked previously but the new lid has a larger hook at the back which means it’s easier for little hands to grab and carry. Looking forward to more designs.
