Sharp, useful, safe and easy to hold. Stowing it so you don't lose it can be problematic depending on pockets.

The 60's called and they want their 12-inch thigh-length knives back. I'm honestly not a big fan of carrying knives while diving. They seem to make people think they can carve on things underwater or cut things underwater they shouldn't. I much prefer line cutters since that, for the most part, is all a recreational diver should need a knife for. All of that being said, this knife is nice because it's small, can fit on a BC strap, has a line cutter built-in, and doesn't rust. If you absolutely feel you need a knife, for the price, you can't really go wrong here. Just please don't use it for messing up the underwater environment.

Solid knife. Quite small but gets the job done. Appears to actually be completely rust-proof.

Good Knife just clip it to your BC and you go. No trying to look like Rambo with some silly oversized commando knife strapped to your leg. I have recommended this knife to many other divers.

I purchased one of these maybe 16 years ago, I stopped diving for almost 10 years and resumed again last year, so after years of use and 10 years of sitting in a cupboard I would of though it would be rusted and unusable, not so much the blade but the pins/lock. But no, no rust and is in perfect working order.

Titanium =Light weight would makes a great travel dive knife 76 gram (2 5/8 oz) Stainless pins through grip non removable. Very sharp on delivery including serrated edge cuts well. Have 500+ dives in salt water [8 years] and NO RUST !! Some reviewers complained line cutter notch catches, this was fixed by detuning sharp top edge with small file. Replaced cord for tougher line and clip. Opens easily left or right handed just pinch notch in spine of blade between thumb and middle finger as it rotates out pop open with thumb. With gloves pinch line cutter or hook it on something and pull back. Note this knife is best for cutting only not prying.

Use this as my back up knife. Got rid of the lanyard and added a bolt snap so I can clip it off inside one of my cargo pockets. Great backup for the price!

Great knife. Holds an edge. Cuts fishing line without having to open it. Lanyard attaches to BCD, so no fear of dropping or losing the knife underwater.

Great to keep in the bc pocket but large enough to handle the job.

Good grip, easy to unfold and fold. I was concerned about the unfolding because my hands are not as good as they use to be and this was easy.

Great knife at a great price, I bought this knife as a back up knife that I keep in my BC shoulder strap. It has a few dives on it now, it shows no signs of corrosion. Has been a good, sharp side. Would buy again.

Nice and small. Like that you can use the line cutter without having to open the knife. Titanium means you don't have to worry as much about corrosion and stays sharp longer. The down side is that it doesn't have a sheath.

Excellent pocket knife. Very sharp and is absolutely unaffected by saltwater. I stick into my BCD's zipper pocket and makes me feel safer during my dives. As other reviews have pointed out, you do need two hands to open and close it, but I don't see that as a problem for me. Also, the line cutter can get caught on stuff, so I would recommend keeping it in a pocket and never leave it dangling during a dive.

Nice secondary dive knife to keep in my BC pocket. Need another season of diving to see how it holds up.

The blade is only sharpened on one side but it will still cut cardboard. The lockup is fairly tight but could be better. I tested the hook on a piece of cardboard too and it wouldn't cut at all. I hung on tight and pulled hard, then the blade folded and I smashed the back of my fingers. If I buy a chainsaw file and work on it I can get the hook sharp, but as is, a single strand of dental floss gives more resistance than you'd expect before it cuts. If you were tangled in nets or lines this wouldn't get you out of them.

reasonably adequate for price for average vacation diver. Compact to carry but must be bare handed to open the blade. Takes 2 hands. Would carry it as a backup knife.
